Ok lets just be honest here, women have been the best fucking musicians throughout history. I know there's bullshit in the music industry itself, but talented women musicians have always been recognized. Go back and look at music from the 50s and even 40s lol. There isn't sexism in that part of the industry.

She reminds me exactly of those amazing women I am so lucky to have met or known throughout my life so far that I admire so much. Strong, smart, genuine, unique women always give off this specific vibe to me, and I aspire to be like that. These women make me feel so honored, and happy, and comfortable with being a woman. Fiona Apple you're so cool.

This is really nice of you to do. It's really genuine and sweet. Your music is so vulnerable and open; like opening one's soul for anyone to experience. Couldn't be easy in a hypothetical empathic, loving world - much less in ours and even more less than that in the industry at the time.
