The suction cup things will work better if you wet them first before you try and stick them to something. just spit on them and rub it around with a finger. make sure you cover the rim of the suction cup from the edge to about a quarter of the way toward the middle.

I’ve had several of the shavers. Loosen the screen until the shaver starts to spin. It’s supposed to be able to loosen up to allow clearance for the blade. They do work.
