This is so beautiful, this half spoken half sung way in La Llorona. It's like this Leonard Cohen song, "there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in". Her voice has those little cracks that make it seem she has gone through it all, understood it all and found the balm. It's sheer magic.
Such an unique voice...She sings with a quiet intensity and her hand movements are captivating. I do like her version of La Llorna, unlike some people--Its her version and Ive heard many covers of that song and she does it justice! She sings as if she has been in mourning for a long time and is slowly letting the pain become something of the past with the tempo of the song. Music must be listened with open ears and an open mind to truly appreciate it in all its wonderful and individualistic forms....
This is like when a good dream turns into a chaotic nightmare but then you find that magic door at your grandmother's place and you open it and you go back into the good dream. I don't know how else to describe this. Absolutely fantastic!
Votre bague colombienne me rappelle toutes les bagues maliennes que je porte en argent protections des Confréries des chasseurs chasseurs et d un ami Hogon des falaises ...
You've gotta be kidding me. This is the worst rendition of La llorona possible. Second piece shows her lovely voice, so I'm sorry she chose to use that hideous warble.
You don't seem to understand the concept of Blogotheque, i.e. bringing music close to the listener. This is exactly what they do and have done in this case too. As such it is a great performance, La llorona too.
@@dtrbstwhy? I'm Mexican, and I've been playing and listening to this song for 50 years, a have never heard such a ludicrous falsetto. It's almost like she's making fun of it.

I think it’s lovely and pretty well done. Her voice is just gorgeous and the performance is perfect
Sometimes, it's better to say nothing at all.
