To point out FFB issue.
Using DD+ with max. output of 15nm.
I tested: 10/10 in-game ffb
FFB and FOR: 100
No NDP, NFR etc.
The car simply doesn't have an adequate level of FFB regardless of the tyres or the suspension, peaking at around 1nm at best, with some minor details under braking.
This is an issue with the latest update affecting some cars. Other cars in daily race have decent FFB and cars act normal.
I usually use around 6-7nm depending on the car.

This issue is game related and changing wheel settings won't solve it.
I love driving the super formula cars, they're my favorite, but they're basically undrivable now..hope they fix it soon, cause the rest of the update seems good, thanks Digit, I learn a lot from you, keep being awesome!!
imagine what it might be on a weak wheel like the g29. this update has ruined the ffb for me, especially the torque. 😢
@@airlinepilot25 what wheelbase do you have? I tried Auto, but ffb is minimal
I'm using a fanatec DD1 podium the only thing I changed from the last ver is put the game torque on 10 sence on 1 (previously they where both on 5) and I've turned the FFB strength down to 35 previously 65. I also run 15 on all the dampening settings on the wheel base settings
The only thing that bothers me is the 18 minute wait to the next race once you're done....
Its a much better car to drive in vr...

For me Daily C is brilliant. Its different and you really have to drive well. If you get the car right its really fast. And Force Feedback.....put the Controller up to mav and the FF STR. minimum up to 60 or even higher. There you have it. Good luck and have fun.
I had two top 5s today. :) in a field of 14-15. Three overall I did a Rally race in as well. I’m C in DR and S in SR. Working my way up!
Force feedback on most open wheel cars is non existent. There is texture but no weight. It is a shame because you can tell the trxture details are a step up from before . Super formula is affected and in my experience, the SF 23 is worse than the 19 in this regard. CS tyres for old racers makes sense to me as I don't think the slicks of this day and age would closely represent tyre compounds from back in the day so that is a choice I am ok with in race C.
I tried the SF19 after the update and found very little/non-existent FFB. I tried it on the super-tight oval track in the USA.
Confused, I then re-connected my Drive Hub adapter, which I'd been using prior to 1.49 to enable the full 11nm that Logitech's G Pro was capable of. Voila, the full FFB reappeared, so something screwy happening with the latest update on certain cars.

The FFB problem is partly caused by the CS tires. If you do the time trial at Spa Francorchamps that features the same car w/racing tires; there is more feedback with the RH tires.
I think they are trying to simulate how crappy the tire technology of racing tires is compared to compounds of today. They do this often with comfort tires on the old cars in races, TT's, and upon purchase of the vehicles in GT7 and it kind of ruins the fun. This car still does not have as much grip or feedback as it should being a 1965 Formula 1 car anyway; which most likely did not have power steering. So it should feel mechanical and stiff at low speeds but it doesn't 😔

I'm just sad that Aston Martin GT3 car is now broken. It's just an understeer machine.
Went from one of my favourite cars to on the shelf. Its awful now.

Same here. Killed it on numerous dailys starting with deep forest reverse. Car is undrivable now.
This is issue that really messes up gt7 online racing. Everyone just wants to run the same old tracks and the same old cars (gr3 especially) and when we get something fun and new everyone says its bad, which means we dont get unique stuff again for a long time
The lack of forced feedback on the wheel, like my G29, is the worst part of the update. It makes zero sense.
How can you detect any potential improvements with feel when with so little torque it all feels the same? 🤦
Imo, this race C track highlights the physics weird feel. I shouldn't be spinning wheels just because im headed up hill. The drastic elevation change feels weird uphill and downhill. Hoping for a patch

I have the logitech g pro. Been doing the time trial on Spa and there's no ffb with this car. It's terrible. The update has really changed my settings for all cars and I'm still struggling to figure out the best combination of ffb in game, ffb on wheel base, and true force.
You’re not alone! My FFB details are missing, my steering oscillates like crazy no matter what I do and my steering angle is all over the place in different cars. This RA272 I had only 240 degrees of steering angle showing while driving (as soon as I pause the game it fixes itself until I unpause) and it made it almost impossible to get gold at spa. there are some pretty major bugs in this update for me. I hope they are going to fix it soon.
@nathandebeaux7307 Haha yep! 2 hands on the wheel at all times now or else it will start oscillating violently. Seems settings have been messed up for all wheel brands after the update. Did PD even test it? Or maybe they play on controller at PD
@@AJGT350 It seems there is an update tomorrow, so I hope they smooth things out a bit, at least to where people can use their wheel as it should be!
I'm using dd pro, and I also got no ffb at all. I tried the Spa time trial with this car and found out that it was so hard to manage this car. I won round 2 of Nation Cup with this car in a A+ lobby so I think I could say that I was quite familiar with this car. I thought that was my problem until I see your video, hopefully they can fix it before the offline event otherwise there'll definitely be lots of chaos. In addition, Super Formula cars have the same issue that the wheel becomes so light.
Daily race slaps!! So much fun, lots of power slides, and you can overtake loads of places. Turn 1, 3, the kink after the pit lane ends and the final hairpin.
I have new extreme dd plus, I'm set at about 8or 9 NM now. I'll give it a try after work.

I have the DD Extreme also, and after driving this car in the time trial, there’s definitely adequate FFB I’m not sure what you’re experiencing but I didn’t have trouble with it. One thing that may be going on, that I think I may have been noticing, but have not confirmed yet, is that the lower the grip tire you have, the less FFB. I think what’s happening is being this car has such soft suspension, when the rear squats, and the front comes up, and you have a low grip tire, it’s taking away from the feedback. I don’t think this is intended behavior but I do think that’s what’s happening
That's confirmed my experiences, too. This car, due to having less mechanical grip and nil downforce, exerts less FFB. I'm with you.
What wheel are you using? I'm using DDpro, and I'm facing the same issue with no ffb. After the update, the overall ffb became weaker. I used to set the ffb at 6in the game and now I have to use 8~10 depending on the car. But this car and super formula cars have completely no ffb. The weird part is that when under braking, the ffb suddenly pops up, but when you start to trail brake, the ffb is gone again.
@@pyy9316 think about it, you’re loading the front tires under braking, that’s why you feel it then. This is likely a bug though, so not by design I think, but that’s what’s happening.
@@Frankenslide Thanks but the issue I'm encountering was definitely not weight transfering, the ffb was more like going from 0 and suddenly to 100 under braking. Hopefully they fix it soon.
Personally I thought the lack of torque was really unique. I use a GT DD pro 8nm and I didn't touch the settings from auto and it is really light, but you can feel little detail like if the car loses grip and the tail end slipping. Personally the feedback is a lot of fun. It's different that's all. I certainly don't think it's a mistake. I like it l.
This track was destined for disaster from the start
DD pro with 8nm here. Try NDP, NFR, NIN, SPR and DPR off. I have INT set to 3. I wouldn't go any lower. Ingame 10/10. Then adjust the FF strength to your taste on the base. I set it to 50-55. With stronger wheel bases, of course adjust the FF strength further down. I'm doing quite well with these settings.
What app do you use for the tyre temp?
Man, your so right. That car has no FFB until you do some braking. I turned my new dd plus up to 90%, and still almost zero on turning. The new update really makes this game fun, I got a few spots I need to work on thought. Was testing the daily race A to set a decent time for about 6 laps. What fun
I have no issue with the FFB with the RA272 with my Fanatec settings. I think it feels pretty reasonable. My settings are (8NM GT DD Pro)

I'm beginning to think even Polyphony wants us all to go play ACC and stop taking up space on their servers. I've always had the impression that they don't really care whether we like racing or not.
Im just on my old g29 and i dont like the way car feels now. I put torque up to max snd wheel is still too light... I like a heavy wheel. I have been racing Race C though and it definitely takes more patience and consistent driving. Mu problem is the wheel is so lifht i have no confidence getting on throttle quicker cause although i can catch it, it just doesn't feel right. Still at least it's something different rsthervthan boring old gr3 or gr4. I wish it was longer race and required pit strategy. PD is never consistent in theur decisions.
To fix ffb pause the game and on the wheel settings go to ffb move down and up a setting then go back to the game , I do that on csl elite
I'm on a controller because my GT DD Pro (8NM) is out of commission, and I actually like this race a lot more than I thought I would. I like it more than A or B, which surprised me.
This is my favorite daily c ever! Sitting at a 1:13.0 rn and got 4 wins yesterday

Logitech G Pro , luckily you can see on wheel base actual live torque, with normal settings on race C my live torque is about 1.5- 1.9 Nm :) with max settings to 10 in GT7 it gives about 4.5 Nm instead of 11

I have the Logitech G Pro. No FF with this car almost, most I see is 2.8nm. Compared to group 1 cars where I now get 9-10 nm. This car is way more fun in VR and when you drive it with the clutch pedal and 6 speed shifter. Like WAY more fun.

@@DigidiBoom increase what to 10. All my settings are maxed out, yet I have 2.8 nm with the 1965 honda open wheel, and 9-10 nm with group1 cars. So no FF feeling almost.

Really poor Physik Update, many Cars feels worth on the Front and lost many Feedback in the Wheel to light. Playing with T-GT2. Before Update the Honda RA272 makes Fun, and now no Feeling in the Front.
Extreme FFB settings got exposed in v1.49. automatic or defaults are necessary. Refusing to do so, and well 🤷🏼♀️. And going back to old settings. 🤦🏼♀️
Finally oldie F1 on proper tyres, not a fictional slick. Baby cries can go to Forza or learn how to drive a SIM. Respect to GT7

great and fun combo, but not for daily C. Thrustmaster TGT-2 also no FF almost at all. Tried on lobby switch to Racing Soft - normal FF, Sport Soft - poor FF, Comfort Soft - very poor FF. It is for any car. This combo with old Honda + Comfort Soft = No FF at all.

Dont like the Feedback on my T-GT2 now! Was better bevore 1.49. Really poor, and Wheel Angel ist increased and no Option to change it. The Honda RA272 is an Example and many Cars feels now Light on Feedback. Test the Jaguar VGT with AWD with Stock Settings, what a Disaster, only another Example
@@Zocker2022 strange mate, my FF on tgt2 started to be stronger when 1.49 happened. Before 1.49 I ride on 6 levels of feedback and 10 of sense, after 1.49 I use 4-5 levels of Feedback and 8 of sense because it is too strong now

Yes, it depends on the cars and especially the tires.
But you can't change the feedback values for every car now.
The difference in feedback feels far too big for every car.
Before the update everything was perfect.
I also have big problems because they have increased the turning angle. Have you noticed that too?
You now have to turn in much further than before. That's really bad, especially when drifting.
On a positive note. At least it is only nine minutes of no FFB 😂
They clearly did not think this through.
Upshifts and especially downshift into rev limiter is not what i want from a real driving simulator 😵💫

Hahaha are you serious?? This is the best daily race of the year so far. This is how Gran Turismo is supposed to be.. It's not supposed to be the same handful of tracks in Gr3 and Gr4 cars.. I refuse to race GR3 and GR4 cars because they drive like arcade and the people who usually are in daily b&c do nothing but race the same cars on the same tracks 24 hours a day 7 days a week lol.. people just don't like this combination because a majority of people don't know how to drive. Car and track combinations like these separate the cream from the crop.
I think it would have been a better race A or B, but I really like it so far 😎

I’ve just started Race Dash for iOS. There’s an android version too. Works pretty well and basically no lag between app and game. Tried another app that had significant lag.

The guy complaining about FFB in the game and how it feels now is also the one Bouncing the car off its rev limiter and is okay with that. Same community that supports the use of assists is the one that is complaining when a game feels more realistic, It is rare for any car at speed to have anywhere near 10-15NM of torque in the wheel. Hence why polyphony dialed it back and made it more realistic. I will sit back and enjoy the barrage of hate I get from my comment!!
No hate brother but I would say that this is actually not realistic or representative of this specific car. Scratching the fact that it's saying that this car has less force feedback than any of the other cars in the game The fact is, this car in real life would have a very large steering wheel to help the drivers deal with how heavy it would be to control this car in certain corners at certain speeds. This is a 1960s V12 with almost no electronics and absolutely no power steering. Long story short this car should have some form of force feedback especially if he's increasing the sensitivity window.
Haha let's be honest. 1 lap time trial you know it was bad.

Not sure if he uses this but I’ve just started using the Race Dash app for iOS. Works pretty well. Basically no lag between app and game (another app I tried had a lot of lag).
I'm done with GT7 since the update I just find it annoying and I turn it off and play something else.
Same here, The new Physik Update broke me the Game. It was bevore all good. Why they test not the new Beta Physik Update in GT8 and let GT7 fine.

It could be really nice race if it were in gr4. Like 15-20 laps with some tire and fuel management. Even grB would be better choice then this car.

I think this daily C and the one with the toyota and subaru at Autopolis are tied for the worst daily C of all time. I look at them and have no desire to play them.
Did you mean the Daily C with 7 laps I believe that you could only overtake with dive bombs? Yeah I skipped that week as well.

@@petripat5979 Super-slidey issues aside, I still like this car in VR. I haven't yet done a comparison, but I'm going to do so with the PS5 native physics and then the DriveHub connected which gives me the full 11nm that the G Pro is capable of.
Before 1.49 PD had nerfed FFB to 7nm max, but the Drive Hub gave me the full whack. I bet there is a difference with this car now.
