And today she actually goes. Goodbye Barbara, you were a wonderful lady. May you rest in eternal peace❤️
She'll be so dearly missed.
4 months already
She signified the London I used to love not what it is now. When she passed on I was devastated as old school London had lost one of their own.
RIP Dame Barbara Windsor. You were one of a kind.
Seeing Phil heartbroken for Peggy truly shows they not only had a close bond on camera but they also had a bond off camera ❤
Ben says Peggy Mitchell gave up, but she didn't. She decided her fate and went out on her own terms
Peggy Mitchell you will always be remembered in our hearts
This is why I love Steve McFadden.
One of the only exits they have gotten right in recent years
Everything about this exit is heartbreaking
This packed a hard and powerful punch. ❤️💔
Barbara will be so dearly missed. She was thee Icon :(
Anyone else got tears streaming down their face? And I’m not just talking about Peggy, even though she was my favourite character... I mean the amazing little dynamo of a woman who played her... she will be sorely missed 🥺😭
1:48 I loved the part of Phil, Louise and Ben hugging.x
This what makes steve mcfadden such a great actor
You never recover from losing your mum trust me
I lost my mum in 2021 I miss her terribly
@@Squab1972 Sorry to hear that.
Things only hurt because that person is worth missing and the stronger the love the more it hurts. That is the only sacrifice of being close to somebody. There was a time I almost envied those who go through life without ever truly caring or loving another human being including family but to miss out on ever knowing what it feels like to be close to somebody and to grow up surrounded by love must be a misery I can't even imagine.
I lost my dad when I was too young to remember but experienced that loss when my grandad passed away who raised me like a father.
You're right it never goes away and you will miss them until the day you die but eventually you do realise that actually that person is always with you and even though the one thing you want you can't have you can be assured that your mum lives on through you and all who love her.
I'm not even talking about religion or anything like that. I can't even explain what I mean but I'm sure you know.
Anyway I will stop ranting now, sorry.
No you don’t.
You don't recover you just learn to deal with it as best as you can
you really don’t💔
I saw Barbara a year before she passed away. I did a school trip speech in Buckingham palace for a trip that was funded by a group of people and Barbara was one of them she was wonderful to talk to but I did notice her health was deteriorating from Alzheimer’s. RIP
1:50 This was the pinnacle of Eastenders, unless someone will come up with something better
These sorts of scenes break me because it reminds me of my dad’s death . It has been more than 30 years but i still cry…
R. I. P Barbara Windsor
One of the best actors too date, lovely and kind, you'll never be forgotten in our hearts for a lifetime, fly with the angels and sleep tight 💔
Fabulous bit of acting from the McFadden chap!!! 😢
The agony in his voice in the last scene and he will probably felt the same when he heard of Barbara passing 2 years ago because if you watched the eastenders past episodes of classic duo's Barbara says both her and her boys always felt that they're connected on and off screen as she always refers to Steve and Ross as her boys since she didn't have any kids
RIP Peggy, RIP Barbara 😥😥 ❤️ ❤️
I cant stop crying 😢 😭
The best episode by far superb acting by phil my heart hurts😭❤️
i love how the did this, let peggy go out on her own terms, just how a mitchell would go out
Out of all the women in his life Phil Loved his Mum the Most.
Just my opinion as much as this was Phil saying goodbye to Peggy, I also feel it was Steve saying goodbye to Barbara. Not to be harsh, but she was on her way out and I truly believe that would’ve been his reaction on screen and in real life.
That lousie, Ben and phill hug tho
In tears again...
That 1 person who disliked this literally can get the fuck out
Haha! You tell ‘em
Long live Peggy and long live Barbara ❤
Such a great actor
I only watch EE when there's nothing else on but Bab's was a national treasure and will be sorely missed. I think the Queen Vic could do with a framed picture of Peggy with her famous saying on it below and characters could refer to it when throwing people out.
Wow ❤
Prime example here of why Tily Keeper is continuing to have success while we haven't seen Harry Reid since. Completely misread and misacted the emotions of this moment. Tily meanwhile crushing it.
They really did this the day after my birthday 💔
That letter took my actual breath away
RIP Barbara windsor I miss her 😢 😢
this is so sad.
Good by peggy mitchell & Barbara Windsor.
3:29 great dinosaur impression
i wa crying until i read this lol brilliant
Couldn't help but laugh at that either know it shouldn't be funny but can't help it
😢Peggy ❤
poor ben and Ricky they both lost their grandma
This is why steve McFadden was always better than Ross kemp at acting.
Peggy will be missed
I LOST MY Mum something u never for Get 😢❤
R.i.p Barbara Windsor say hi to mike reid for me please.
3:30 life isn’t fair
To think 7 months after Ronnie and Roxy dies half the mitchells have perished soo sad eastenders have made plenty of mistakes in their time think it’s time they sorted it out right now😩😩
Funny how Shirley finds a man who resembles Phil
I feel very sorry for Phil
Yeah cry at the end 😭😭😭😭
All Ben was worrying about is that she gave up
3:29 me when its time for school
It is insane how many people have passed away who were in the show during its prime. Not just characters but many of the actors who played them.
I can't watch the show these days because of the political aspect and the massive decline in creativity but to be honest even if the writing picked up there are too many important characters gone for it ever to be the show it once was.
R.I.P Peggy/Barbara
"Get outta my poncey bistro wine bar" just doesn't work.
