So excited to be doing this #RollingBYOP and get to play with all of the fun shadows in my collection. We started with 9 shadows, but I have increased it to 20 with the December reboot. You can pick as many or as few as you like. My goal for 2024 is to finish all of these shadows. Feel free to join in!

Hi Jessica really good progress this time and two goals met.
I am extremely cool toned so everything pulls peachy or orange on me. Warmth can be red, orange or yellow based and that determines what colour you need for colour correction. Orange needs blue to neutralise it, yellow needs purple and red needs grey to mute it down a bit or a little green to make it more brown based. With an olive undertone adding a touch of green to each (just a very small amount) will make any shade look more natural. I colour correct foundations etc all the time and it is easy to get a blue or yellow mixer (or a white as I’m ultra pale), but the fairly recent purple liquid blushes are an amazing way to counteract yellow based shades (I use made by Mitchell blursh in Dairy Queen). Eyeshadow is a little different but the same thing applies. Adding grey to something will make it a softer more muted shade and it will therefore be less vibrant, but for shades that are too warm (or too cool) you need the opposite colour on the colour wheel. I hope that makes sense. It’s exactly the same as mixing pigments for painting a picture. I hope that helps and best wishes x

Amazing progress! Especially with that black.
Why not try mixing that grey with some of the shades in your Huda Beauty palette? That might give you a cooler tone that would give you a whole new look!

Amazing progress!! Re the TF shadow you’re pulling in, is it a little purple leaning in the pan? If so, I’d say, add something neutral that’s a little too yellow for you. If you mixed orange, it might go too reddish, as orange & purple both contain red. I’m frankening a purple & yellow today too to get a neutral. Good luck to both of us!! 😁👩‍🔬🧪🩷
