- Worst mission ever. Period. You know it's going to be bad when even the first lever is hard to activate, not to mention the doors while running from rockets. Oh, and then you have the helicopter with your missiles going right through it or the guiding not working at all.
Anyways, best strat for the helicopter is to wait until it goes to the center, if you try to hit it while it's moving from right to left it's probable that you won't hit it because it moves too fast for the guided missiles and that you'll get a lot of damage from explosions.

This mission used to drive me absolutely insane.
😂😡 same man
Me too, I remember it now, I never had the reaction time to use the four shot guide by wire rocket launcher, my brother had to do it for me. Also, this was the first time I saw a cane gun and a helicopter with buzzsaw blades for forestry in the movie.
It’s amazing how you beat it while guiding the missiles. You are truly a master of video games. It took me 20 try’s and I had to hide basically the whole time and wait before it got under the middle of the walkway and then I switched to auto and did it like 4 times and I almost died. This mission is so stressful man.
Update 2/15/22 12:20 am… after my save file got deleted somehow almost 2 years later I completed this mission on 00 agent again lol
i always thought these levels were called caviar factory 1 and 2 because that's what they are in the film
I actually had fun with the City of Walkways missions, except for the part with the attack helicopter at the end. The missiles don't work or barely work. I'm like "WTH??"
Legit playing this now & I cannot remember how the fuck I managed to pass that level but I know it took me a while.... & a lot of rage quitting
@@STONECOLD1988 that and the fact that some of the explosions hurt you even when they blow up far away. The Sentinel and Sticky Grenades can kill you if you you are less than 50 feet away from the explosion. Shames even Halo Combat Evolved grenades.
Tom Tran I’m literally trying to finish this right now. It’s so frustrating
@@joshuaalexander6296 This Mission Totally Sucks!
I know right? I like this mision because is fast passed and the music.
Just the helicopter at the end that kills the vibe.
I wish they showed Bonds car being cut in half like in the movie.
Then he'll say "Q's not gonna like this"
i actually beat the helicopter on the first try, but it killed me on its downfall.. . then i died like 15 times retrying this .... f'ing hate that helicopter.
Tim van der Lee THAT HELICOPTOR IS WHY I HAVE ANGER ISSUES
FUCK. THAT. HELICOPTER.
TO WHOMEVER WOULD LIKE TO (FAIRLY) EASILY BEAT THE HELICOPTER:
Assuming you've stayed in decent shape and have a bit of body armor left, do this: sprint across that last walkway (at 3:07). Graslu00 stops on the bridge to take out the dude with the rocket launcher. I don't recommend this. Make the sprint with the GL 40 ready to go, and once you're up on that little area where the ramp down to Valentine's car is (about 3:23), lob a grenade at rocket launcher man. Try not to stop moving if possible.
Now, this is the important part. Get down to the car, and get the missile launcher. Then, put a bullet in the explosive barrel right next to the final bridge you cross (you can see the barrel at 3:30). Now, pause at 3:30. What you have to do now is run straight out to the drawbridge and kneel. The chopper is going to move to 3 positions relative to your position by the drawbridge: above you, to your left, and to your right. DO NOT try to shoot it while it's to the left or right. HOWEVER, "follow it" to avoid damage. What I mean is, kneel down and hug those brown fence posts as close to the drawbridge as possible. This will minimize damage, just make sure you're staying on the side closest to the helicopter. Then, when it comes back to the center and stops in the air, blast it with everything you've got. Run back in, get more ammo, and come do it again.
I know it sounds like certain death, but it works, and you take surprisingly little damage. I'd also add that you shouldn't use the "guided" missiles. Put it on auto and let em rip
Thanks for some alternatives! This mission really gives a lot of issues, specially when I tried it again on real hardware back when I streamed it.
If you stand between the shipping crate and the backside of the ramp on the lower level, you're completely covered from all missile and machine gun passes the helicopter attempts. With good timing, you can fire through the crack between the ramp and the upper platform and hit the helicopter as it flies between its positions. You will take literally 0 damage with this strategy. I will admit this method is SLOW, but it will get the job done regardless of how low your health is.
Oh my god bro you just saved me so much heartache lol
Damn, that's actually a pretty good game you had there with the guided missiles.
I remember I always set the missiles to Auto, and I waited until the helicoptered centered and slowly drifted back towards the drawbridge. Then just let out a barrage of missiles at it while taking a few bullets in.
You visibly did this at 4:40, which is great, and you could definitely hear 3 direct hits on it. Good job!
I kept dying when I did that since the explosions damage you from a stupid long range. Lol
@@upy0ur5 you're right, the finish off explosion does chunk off his health. Haha
I guess that used to happen and sometimes we'd both die at the same time. I guess you gotta save full health for that to work. Lol
@@SoarinYoshi64 those rockets and the sticky grenade have explosions that make the Fat Man in Fallout series jealous
@@upy0ur5 aaaah
The sticky grenades. So many fond memories of running on circles in multiplayer Istanbul and just chunking them to the walls xD
@@SoarinYoshi64 and taking our enemies down with us if we were low in health
I'm glad to see I was not the only one who found that first level hard to pull.
At the time, I wished this game was on Dreamcast.
Still have bad dreams of that damn chopper on this difficulty.
After 15-20 tries and hiding under the stairwell you can cheese it it just takes practice
Yeah, this mission sucks.
Why?
Watching some of these gameplays makes
me wanna buy a expansion pack and a copy
of this game.
Expansion pack is a must because without it looks awful and with it it still doesn’t look great. Emulators are the way to go
Nostalgia 2000
Graslu00 you are the best player in the world!
i remember having a hard time with the last part of this level.
Was it the worst mission ever?
You have to learn the right way to do it. You can’t just go in there without a strategy
Well done this was a damn hard level. I can't remember if you have to clear it in a certain time to unlock a multiplayer level or skin but I remember a few of the levels in this game had insane time challenges.
That last part sucks with that stupid helicopter
You can actually sequence break this level making it drastically easier. Just jumping over spots can cause things to not load in.
WTF WAS VALENTINE DOING LMFAO
just casually talking while drowning lol
In the film he falls there while trying to escape from the helicopter lol
i played this mission on an emulator with a mouse injector on 00 agent difficulty and had to save scum to get past the damn helicopter. i cant imagine doing it back on original hardware and the n64 controller holy shit
I literally just did it lol took me 20 tries though
Ohhh, you can go downstairs... I was trying to kill the fuckIer with the standard grenade launcher this whole time. It's been like 9 years now where I've been playing this mission for hours every night. Thank you so much, really
You played this for 9 years every night trying to blow it up with grenade launcher ??
@@Thatguy55595 been trying last few days. Soo stupid
@@carlinkevin what part are you stuck at? I can help you
@@Thatguy55595 stuck on the helicopter part, think I can beat with tonight but frustrating and wasting time lol
@@carlinkevin he kinda shows the right way but I figured out a different way. Once you get to the lower part with the car stand a little under the stairs toward the center/back and also instead of shooting 8 rockets only shoot 4 each time it makes a pass you take less damage. Once you practice it like 10-15 times you should be good. The next level is sadly even harder though lol
Destroyed the helicópter and kill me with teleguide missil to kill the guys, oh shittt
Great job, it seems that you're able to just about beat any James Bond game on hardest difficulty! This mission also looks like the Aztec level of The World Is Not Enough. Just wondering, what's the hardest video game level you have ever played?
(The hardest level I have ever played was 'No Fighting in the War Room' from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare).
Overall the hardest levels I've played are on the singleplayer campaign of F-Zero GX, it took me years until I got to unlock everything.
For first person shooters, probably some level on Halo 1 or 2, they can be really hard on Legendary if you're not careful enough.
I usually don't have problems on FPS games to the point of getting stuck, but the ones that got me retrying a lot of times were Aztec on the N64, one of the final levels on DOOM 2016 (To be fair I started on Nightmare difficulty right away), and as I said before some levels from Halo 1 and 2 at the hardest difficulty, but I don't remember the names anymore.
The Truth and Reconciliation mission (mission 3) on Halo 1 at Legendary difficulty is really difficult!
Also Two Betrayals (mission 8) and Keyes (mission 9) are very tough missions on Halo 1 at the hardest difficulty.
Yeah, a lot of those you're better off just speedrunning them than trying to properly complete them.
Yeah!
In some Halo 1 and 2 missions there are infinite spawning enemies and the only way to get out from some chekcpoints is runnning, running and running again
gold medal on everything or nothing for me are harder than aztec, control 2, this,
Great videos, great content. Keep up the work! ( I just subscribed not too long ago. )
Thank you! I'm glad you like my content.
Also just a question, do you have any relevance to GoldenEye: Source?
I'm working as a Beta Tester with it along with a few other contributions to the development of it.
Currently I'm also the top 1 ranked player for it.

Nope, it's only for GE and PD. Each game would need to be hacked for it to work.

05:29 Another game for the same period it could have been a glitch 😆
Fuck.
That.
Chopper.
Is it a bug on this game if you put the launcher into guide mode you cant even steer it. It always goes in a straight line? I have never found out how to actually guide the rockets can you even guide them?
I think it's with the C-Buttons, DPad or the stick? Not sure, it's been long. Maybe even the L or R button.
You literally just listed off every button 😂
You have to hold R(or whichever your aim button is) after firing for the guided misses to work. Otherwise they just fire straight.
They're still pretty difficult to control, though.
I know that guided is broken on emulators it’s better controls on actual N64, if you’re on emulator just switch it to its secondary firing mode auto fire and keep getting more rockets at the car.
Y is your game clear wat wiring do u use
This is emulated on PC. You can't get this quality on N64.
srs question are you playing this on an emulator and if so which one
Project 64 1.6 with Azimer's Audio Plugin 0.56, Glide64 'Final' and an N64 controller.
Tendo 64 works great for mobile, i even have a bluetooth controller connected and works like a charm.
how do you guide the missiles?
It's one of the secondary modes of the gun. You can switch between them like with other guns. I think it's B+A.
B+Z actually. A step foward in my opinion from the system we had in perfect dark (faster mode changes). It is a shame most weapons had shitty secondary modes
