I was pondering this the other day with a faux fox feel. Super excited to make it! Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents! 💗
That’s really beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
So pretty. Easy crochet love that feeling so soft
Beautiful pattern to make a beautiful accessory! Thank you so very much.
So pretty! Can't wait to try this pattern😁👍
Thankyou l love this hooded scarf looks so beautiful and warm God bless
It's gorgeous darl ❤
This is so cute
Thank you for this Awesome tutorial, I’m making several for Christmas presents ❤
I'm going to be using LB Go For Faux Chinchilla. I happen to have a few skeins left and was looking for another pattern and this one is it. Thank you. ☺️👍
I love this pattern!! I went to the store and got 3 balls of this yarn. Only to find out they were small balls. No where near enough to make this 😔. I wasn’t even able to get up to where you start the hood. Now I’m on the hunt for more of this yarn. Having my hubby laid off is no fun when I need yarn. I will just have to put this project aside and hopefully find more yarn later.
This is such a cute scarf/hoodie! I just may use my new yarn from Lion Brand's Mandala Fluffy.... Thanks so much for making and sharing this pattern and video!
ohhh yes, great idea! I think Mandala Fluffy will look amazing!
Hi! This is beautiful, thank u! Did u use the regular Go For Faux or the Go For Faux Thick & Quick?
Heel mooi super
😍
I LOVE IT, AMAZING. :)
thank you!
Is this the same pattern as the short you put up?
Are you using the regular LB Go for Faux or the Thick & Quick (3 ply) version? Important to know because the 3 ply Thick and Quick version is 3 times thicker then the regular. I think it must be the regular because I doubt very much that 3 skeins of the Thick & Quick would get anywhere near this length.
Hi Wilma, I worked out the length of 70 rows should be 140cm and not what the pattern says, mine is 135cm, I think I need a couple more rows anyway on the hood. If the scarf should be over 160cm it needs more rows on both parts. Is there an error in the finished length stated on the pattern?
I had to do 83 rows to get the hood the right size in the end. 82 would work.
Beautiful ! How many skeins were used to complete the project? Thank you. 🌷
In the description, it states 3 balls of the yarn. 💜
How many ball of yarn do I need?
I made this scarf in the Baked Alaska. I also bought Chinchilla to make one for my daughter in law. I Absolutely love this hooded scarf! Unfortunately, so does my 4 year old granddaughter. Do you have this pattern cut down for a small child?
I think it’s pretty easy to alter yourself. I was thinking of making one for my little granddaughter too.
How many centimeters? (Easier to measure, than keep track of the rows)
Could you tell me how long just this scarf is, around? I must've messed up somewhere. I have 49 rows, but my scarf is still not yet long enough to wrap around my neck like you do in the finished photo. Please help. Anyone who's made this, feel free to answer, please.
May be a silly question, but will this pattern work on other types of yarn? I'm guessing the stitch counts would be a bit different but just curious
I'm using Sirdar Alpine. I want to use Scheepjes Furry Tails next.
The Ravelry link takes you to another designer, not you. Thought you'd like to fix this. I love your patterns and your positive attitude! 💜
Thank you! Could you tell me a bit more? Which link exactly and which designer? I just checked everything and I cannot find a broken link!
@@WilmaWestenberg Hi Wilma! When I click on the Ravelry link, it takes me to a designer from Australia who goes by, "Wilmaw", not you. I also follow you on Ravelry. Please give my regards to your Mom and Grandma, they appear as sweet as you! Thanks for sharing your amazing talent! I live in New Mexico, USA, not far from where you visited Las Vegas 💜🏜️🌷

Is there a reason you decided on using a 15 mm hook when the yarn recommends a 9mm? I usually only crochet amigurumis so doing actually garments is new to me (and crocheting in general is new as well I just started in the last year.)
She probably used a larger hook to give it a fluffy, soft & cozy feel. The bigger the hook, the softer the stitch!! It is also pretty stylish.
@@laurelgirard8475 ohh makes sense I didnt know thank you
Hi
I’m not able to get this size, 6 Super Bulky, faux fur, but I am able to get it in 7 Jumbo, the Lion Brand Go Fur Faux Thick & Quick ( or something like that). The yardage is less, but I know it’s thicker. Would anyone know how many skeins of it I should get, please?
You need to know the yardage of the yarn you want to use. Decide the total yardage by the length and that will give you the number of skeins you need.
@@carolvile5584 thank you!
@@borkaio2449 that should say divide the total by the length of one skein to get the number of skeins 😂.
Question:. What is the length of the scarf from rows 1 to 44?? I want to be sure it's the correct length before I continue, I don't want to find it too short and then have to frog it. Thank you..
I think mine is short and the hood too, but I can add rows to the hood then drop down to do a few more for the scarf then join the ends, no frogging required.
@@carolvile5584 Thank you Carol for this fix, I'll keep this in mind and if I run into issues I'll do exactly this!!
@@RIODJENIRO1 I ended up doing 83 rows, then I didn't need to add to the scarf, but the hood was much too small at 70 rows. The total length given is 162cm and going by the tension there should be 81/82 rows. I wonder if there's an error in the pattern.
@@carolvile5584 Thanks so much for the update. Did you use the same yarn?? I'm using Mandala fluffy and didn't like the way it looked crocheted so I am now attempting to knit it and so far like the way it's looking. I just hope I have enough yarn. Thank you again, enjoy your hoodie scarf.
@@RIODJENIRO1 I am in the U.K. and the Lion brand is £24 per skein, so I found Sirdar Alpine which is a super bulky fur. Next time I will use Scheepjes Furry Tales which costs less than the Sirdar and has more colours (like rainbow unicorn 😍).
