I am a big fan of stretch surfboards since the very first time I used one back in 2010. Great boards in shape and materials. I stopped using them beacuse there are few places to get one in Latam. Ten years later, I had the opportunity to buy one and looking into models, I came across a rare shape and Christian fletcher testing a creepy looking model: The 5150. Bougth it, its an epic board, The reverse channels are insane in turns, plus the board can handle really big surf. I reconected with the brand and started to find out why Stretch will do such a unconvencional board and in the process I came across all the videos where he explains what is in his mind when shaping and using flex ( know many boards builders are doing it: torq surfboards, XTR surfboards, HS surfboards siome CIS surfboards constructions, etc ) and founded very useful all the mind work put on doing this shapes. The explanations and usage of physics in order to demonstrate how things work in a wave; really make sence to me (me knowing few things of physics and fluids) its the correct way of validating and being able to trust inovation with the shaping experience (empiric knowledge). Can´t figure out a way to put my hands on one custom board in europe know; but I hope I can.
Inverted V creates the lift vector and has flats , but this seems more dramatic and effective . Combining the 2 sounds like a good idea . Love listening to a sharp head like William .
Makes me miss the Reef ads😂🤣🤷🏼♂️

So good 👍 love the variety and not being anchored by one design or style. The only way things will ever progress is by people trying new ideas
