If Fortunes Keep didn't have the shiny glare filter it would be 100x better.
I’ve had the sunlight glare off my gun a few times and make it impossible to see anything for a couple second span which could be really aggravating if it happened at the wrong time
Dude this is way better than not being able to see thru fog 20+ meters out on vondel

Good effort on your joke, but fail. those are the two maps everyone’s always wanted so regardless, of which one comes first we’re always going to ask for the other one as well. Just like we’ve been asking for both of those maps for the past three years now. Get with the program.

I have always said that if they brought out Rebirth first, no one would have gone to Fortune's Keep when it was released afterwards. They are holding on to Rebirth because they also understand that is what everyone is going to play once it comes out.
@JGOD completely agree, for me the worst thing right now is the queueing issue (at least on EU). Whenever i play with friends with a wider skill difference and rank diff we queue until >56ms, it says connecting and resets back to queue. This seems to only occur if there is a large skill gap within the group, it never happens when you queue alone (tried it with everyone queueing seperately, that worked immediately)

When it comes back, people will get their nostalgia hit, then spend the next 8 months begging for Verdansk,
Quite possible, I wouldn't mind Verdansk and Rebirth only. Nothing else has been as fun.

Rebirth is/was perfect for resurgence !
You can't have a consistent game on FK. The gameplay doesn't flow right, too many angles to attack from which is no fun with a high TTK game like COD. Rebirth, Ashika Island and Vondel all have limited angles of attack which keeps it predicable. FK you can be shot in the back from a million different places. I like it on solos but thats about it.

I enjoy Fortunes Keep. I look forward to them adding Rebirth back. I hope they continue to build them out for Warzone/Resurgance and keep them in the game going forward across all of the new titles.
The more of these medium sized/resurgance maps they have going forward, the better in my book.

I think they should use the diagonal pad left button for putting on and taking off gas mask. Keep it stored in the gas mask slot. People can take it off and put it on whenever they want. Then it’s just a button and you don’t have to go into your inventory. You don’t have to do it for nads or tacs
Thats a great idea. Its a hassle in chaotic moments to have to go into your backpack and select/deselect during engagements in the end circles
As someone who just recently came back to cod I've been enjoying resurgence quite a bit but the matchmaking is annoying because i rarely get a full team lol.

Yeah that or else they just quit or lag out. Games fkn horrible for that. The stacking on fortunes keep is unreal. 2 or 3 teams holding hands in 1 building is impossible to not get 3rd partied
Very true! If you are playing with randoms, I recommend searching for a team before you even search for a match.
I only get a full team like 25% of the time. Even got put in a ranked game without a full squad, that's insane to me.

It's just too unfair and most ransoms wont even use mics or are fkn talking into their controller with the TV on 100 volume. 🔇

Ashika island and Rebirth Island are the only maps for Resurgence mode.

Yes it is def a AR/SMG/shotty map only. One of my trio partners sucks at the game and loves sniping. He is already useless on Urzikstan now imagine how useless he is running around Fortunes Keep with a daggum sniper HAHA@@TheAmazighSoldier

Imma be honest, ever since Fortunes Keep dropped I've been actually enjoying the game. My only 2 problems are the occasional dev errors I get and the horrible connection I get with ranked matches. It takes me like 6 minutes to get a ranked match and even when I get one its always a 200ms ping EU lobby (I live in South Africa by the way). I feel like the matchmaking for ranked is just way too strict especially since it doesn't prioritise connection first.
I love the spectating vids on your channel and tbh , the ones i generally only make time to watch . I dont mind a mixture of resur and main map on these although prefer the main ( big ) map
They need to just keep all the resurgence maps on rotation. I hate only having one map to play when they have multiple.

Fortunes has actually made this game decent to be fair. Enjoying it for the first time.
i really liked vondel, it played like a more consistent rebirth island, like rebirth the players skill needed to increase quite a lot to win as the zone shrinks, but vondel i could keep a more casual skill level vs zone size, even when the player base is much sweatier now
fortunes keep is very challenging from the start in terms of positioning and predicting player movements and player positions
Same for me vondel is kinda like rebirth for me constant action and the map is fun too
The FPS drops all over Fortunes Keep makes it feel like playing on a Gamecube in gunfights
Imagine going 2-1 and getting 5th in resurgence lmao

They need to add back redeploy balloons that you’re able to carry and deploy whenever you want that was a cool thing
facts I don't need all of these portable buys and load outs, the balloons were so clutch late circle
also add back the random lootable perks and random power ups that got added into caldera patch those were sick
@@aic20 the perks thing is useless now that we can just buy perks lol, I dont like that system at all that we have right now.
@@ThePatrickBateman69 nah but you could pick up perks (individual ones) and it would be added on top of your 4 you already had
they got the personal redeploy drones that you can carry around with you , is pretty much the same idea.

The issue with vondel and ashika is that I feel its missing the essence of resurgence. I wasnt a big fan of fortune keeps on wz1 but i enjoy playing it now over ashika and vondel.

I'm more interested in hearing the tips and advice given during gameplay. I find it helpful and entertaining.
I think sometimes there is more room for advice on both unique and regular encounters that wouldn't have otherwise been witnessed outside of spectating.

They have balanced this map well. No crazy circle pulls, reasonable amounts of people in the final circle. Have to plan your rotations because outplay is limited from poi, which I like. Easter eggs are great! Happy to see them come back
I loved the first version of Fortunes Keep, but I’ve switched back to Vondel since the changes to Fortunes Keep make it play a bit strange
honestly Jgod, i see that there are improvements in the game. I play big map mostly and there were some bugs in contracts and such and i see them fixed. Id say they are doing a decent job.
I actually think they’re both great resurgence maps. I hope we can have them both back forever!
I'd like if they brought a map selection into it, the map rotation for parts of main WZ map was alright, I really liked Orlov Military base as a resurgence map
You summed it up best. It's great, but I had serious sbmm issues up until about a week ago. It got fixed. But it sucks to not know exactly what happened, but for a week I got like less then 10 kills in br solos all week and I'm a 1.17 kd it was almost like their sbmm was glitched. It has me feeling like I'm a conspiracy theorist tbh.

I wish they would bring back the WZ1 mechanics fully, the refresh of buy station was nice but still feel like they could add a few more on the map, and they need to fix jumping out the windows where the operators doesn’t get stuck
You should do a video on how matchmaking works in ranked. While I was platinum I would constantly run into crimson players and sometimes iridescent. Then I got curious and watched some streamers play that are in the top 250 and I would see them killing a lot platinums golds and diamonds. It doesn’t seem like your actually rank has much of an effect.

I never was a fan of Fortune's Keep because it's full of buildings. The reason why Rebirth was such a success is because the POI's were spaced out properly and camping is barely possible.
Have you been playing? I feel the opposite. 1 side of the map there is a lack of buildings/loot

Been grinding ranked, having a lot of fun but I can only imagine the fun I’d have if it was rebirth or even vondel, this map has an impossible rest loop; unless you instantly recall the team that killed you and win, you are not able to rest very well

I only play resurgence. I cannot understand why there's no stats or leaderboard for resurgence mode, now they added it but only for ranked. I really liked keeping track of wins etc

Also I agree that the hype is building up again towards S3 and Rebirth and they've done massive changes to make this game more enjoyable but I still can't figure out for the life of me why they wont fix shadow bans, it just seems borderline illegal to restrict good players from playing the game, it's insane.
