Number 5...bundle greeting cards...look in your local thrift store. I came across a bundle of 100 blank greeting cards with the envelopes in my local thrift store that i am still using almost two years later. I even shsred some with a dear senior friend who loved to send cards but wasnt as mobile. I paid 2 dollars for the 100 cards. Great video as always...love all the tips! Thank you Jennifer

Today I will get coffee ready for the next day, pick my outfit for the next day, and straighten up my living area where I do stuff and drink coffee before work. I will also complete the few dishes soaking in the sink from cooking tomorrow's meals. Yesterday did a quick 2 minute dust of the living room. Love getting short tasks done - empowering! The longer tougher tasks that pile up are the stressors for me (it's not out of laziness).

Rather than using a sticky note I prefer to use a small pad and scratch the items off as I go. This accomplishes 2 things...allows you to take care of any items you failed to tackle and is a literal log of all the accomplishments you've completed.
Surrounding yourself with people who you agree with and share the same morals may leave you unopen to alternate ways of thinking. I wouldn't eliminate everyone, just the toxic people. Better to get involved in your local politics to ensure your values and morals are aligned with your local politicians. It's best not to leave these things up to people with idle time.
Most important item of all is to have regular family dinners at the dining table. This is a lost family uniter which reconnects everyone in a major way.

I have implemented #1 a few years ago and it’s a habit now. I did it for many reasons. I sleep better, I don’t wake up at all thinking oh yea I need to do this or that! I also have my day planned a day before so I don’t wake up and wonder what I have to do that day. Just this has given me such peace I suggest it all of the time

Thank you for the video. I do have other tips that I want to share with for you all. 1) I keep a plastic comb in my shower. After shampooing my hair, I only put a little bit of conditionner, then I comb my hair before rinsing. After the shower, I clean my comb, and put the hair collected by comb into the trash can. It helps to prevent blockage of the pipes, and also with the detangling of your hair. If you don't use conditionner at all (I often do that), just comb your hair after shampoo. 2) On my computer, I have a grocery list already written for basics, and a check-up list. Each week, i go through my list and cross what I don't need, instead of making a new list each week from ground zero. It is effective in avoiding forgetting, and faster than a redo. (I also have the favorite meals list ;).

When I am decluttering, I do not let the box or bag of donations sit around the house. It goes directly to the trunk of the car so that I can drop it off when I am out and about. That actually helps me to declutter my space vs avoiding it cuz it make a bigger mess. LOL. I takes 2 minutes to put it out in the trunk. Love these tips! Thank you !

    Dear Jennifer
Thank u very much. I clean the kitchen as i cook and clean the sink after cooking. This males me happy. I hv become interested in gardening and i water them every day while cooking. I also make my bed and tidy the room be4 i leave for work. I also choose my clothes and arrange my handbag the day before so i dont hv to worry abt wat to dress. I iron once every two weeks.i wash my clothes daily by hand as i dont like to collect because it becomes untidy and also washing a load is not good for my back. I wash my pants ,towel and pillow cases every week and i change my bed sheet every other week.wen i hv a load of work i write it down and since i like making cards i make them in bulk and keep so that i dont hv to stress abt anything. The best thing is i dont like to go to work or appointments late so i plan accordingly as my brain cannot handle the rush. I am collecting names of books so that i can read them wen i go to my daughters place in NZ.tc

I send a family MEMO 📝 each evening for the next day to keep up with kids activities/ work events/ sports events/ events in schools, sometimes chores that someone might need to do and sometimes I name what will be for dinner. We also have a weekly dinner menu but if a meat needs to be used then I’ll choose the dinner and let the family know in advance

Having a list of meals is key. I don't plan for specific meals on specific days any more because it's too easy to get sidetracked if you have a day that's unexpectedly busy, so you end up getting a take-out meal when you hadn't planned on it. I now work from a list of about 40 meals. We then can plan for the next few days once we know what our plans are, and when we see what's on sale. Having this list means we aren't eating the same things over and over again, and I am planning meals I know my family really enjoys. Time saved and money saved.

The phone isn’t an issue for me as I sleep like I’m in a coma. Lol. I just turn it upside down so it’s dark and all the calls, texts and notifs are on silent. I also put all my daily or most frequent tasks on a timer for awhile just to see how long things take. Surprisingly most things never take long at all (usually less than one minute to up to 15 minutes).
I hate unloading the dishwasher so I will usually do parts of it in 1 or 2 minute increments here and there. Or as with many other things, I just pay attention to little things I can do quickly when I’m already in a room.
