My mom died September 27th, 2019. My birthday is October 11th 14 days 2 weeks exactly. It was my 21st. I buried her 3 days before before the day I turned 21. I just recently found this song a couple days ago. Thank you. It’ll be four years in less than two weeks. This means so much to me. I can’t I can’t express the impact thing song has had on me. The beginning of July will mark 4 years since I lost my godmother to cancer. This duet version of the song just broke me down on a first listen. Sitting here with tears rolling down my face, appreciating this beautiful song that helps me with my grief. We lost my son's father November 3, 2021. 2 weeks later, we lost my sister - who was like a mother to me - after a 9 year battle with metastatic breast cancer. 6 months later I had a vestibular schwannoma brain tumor removed. This song - all versions hit so much for us. From a message to my son from his dad, a message from my sister to me about not staying in grief, to me telling my son if anything happened to me to keep living a full and happy life. I don't think you will ever know how much this song means to the world or how grateful so many of us are to you for making it. Thank you
