1:17:20 Okay- Eddie found these out of order and didn't find them all either so I'll explain it for anyone confused and I also hope Eddie sees this too because it never showed light on just how creepy and beautifully done her character and this segment is.
That was note 4 of 6. She isn't howling, she's describing the pain she feels from slowly starving to death. In the very first note Mrs. Delight tells us how lost her and the other Delights feel without their students and human staff, the doors got locked and all the teachers were sealed in shortly after The Hour of Joy. This one in particular descending into hunger and madness, forming a makeshift mace out of a ruler, twine, and sharpened pens and pencils out of paranoia as the Teachers started to attack each other in desperation. Even naming it 'Barb' and treating it like a person, having full on conversations with it. After her sisters cut this specific Delight off from food, 'Barb' convinces her that if she stands perfectly still the others will think shes dead. Using this tactic to ambush her sisters when they least suspected it, moving only when she wasn't being looked at. As she tries to do to the player. She caved into her hunger, killing and cannibalizing her sisters with the weapon she'd made to protect them and herself to stay alive. Only parts of her face are missing which I think might be heavy cannibal inspiration and it's safe to say she has no lips likely because she chewed them off and ate bits of her face. Later on she finds the door unlocked and suspects Catnap to be the culprit, but they form a sort of...truce. Agreeing to relay whatever they see to each other and the Prototype, which she just refers to as- 'HIM'.
Mrs. Delight uses her tactic of staying perfectly still and only moving when they PC turns away the same way she killed her sisters, acting like a weeping angel up until the PC reaches the exit to the maintenance area. Running at you, attempting to slide under the door to get to you only to get crushed instead. There's just something creepy though that I've realized. In the note where she tells the reader her and her sisters argued about food, she says she was the one to be "singled out" by the others. Cutting her off from provisions they had and purposely starving her. Had they planned on her dying first, and if so, were THEY planning on eating her? That and..there's vending machines ALL OVER the school full of snacks, sure they're Bronty plant flavored gummies but its SOMETHING. Which means Mrs. Delight wasn't hungry for FOOD. Her and likely all the other teachers were hungry for MEAT if you catch my drift, and there are fliers that support this theory. There are memos and reminders on bulletin boards telling everyone to be careful because students and human staff had began to disappear even before The Hour of Joy, and we can all guess where they went..
