- It’s usually considered a selling rule but is in fact more of a holding rule. Mike Webster, senior market strategist at IBD, joins Investor’s Business Daily’s “Investing with IBD” podcast to discuss his rule for adjusting a core position in a winning stock, no matter the market. Learn how to use regression channels for markets and relative strength line moving averages to keep positions in winning names like Nvidia (NVDA) and Super Micro Computer (SMCI).

I love Mike Webster !! He is a monster of the market !! So great to see him back !!!!
I'm so glad that Mike came back. I was not an investor until recently so this is my first exposure to his style.
Thanks, Irusha for getting Mike to explain some things in more detail.
Would like hybrid Swing to Long on IBD….Mike is Terrific addition to IBD and is very well spoken and smooth with Justin and Irusha🎉
Really helpful how Mike Webster shows us the logic and math of holding a stock.
Good to see Mike back
Invaluable as ever. Great to see Webby back and looking so well.
I really like your contents. I like to listen Mike so much. Thank you for your valuable knowledge. 😊🙏👍
Welcome back Mike! I wanted to ask how do you scale into a position? When a stock going through the pivot. do you buy all at once? pyramid up? reverse pyramid?
A bit of a reverse pyramid these days
Great podcast!! So helpful! Thank you so much!!
Unparalleled knowledge.
great session. thanks for sharing.
Thank you for being such a positive force in the trading community. Your videos have helped so many people, myself included.
It’s great to see you back Mike!

That was great! So great to have Mike back, he's a great teacher!
Let's have Mike more!
I'll be back in a couple weeks
Mike Webster is back!
Glad to be back!
5:07 well that was prescient, Mike!
Thank you this is so helpful!!
I noticed that we are looking at the weekly (as oppose to the daily) charts when discussing the RS lines and it's moving averages. Looking at some stocks charts, I can see that there are times when it crosses for the daily but the weekly may not cross the moving averages. Can IBD confirm that it is better to focus on the weekly for sell signals?
Mike looking great!!!
Thanks!
I would like to see a podcast about rating stocks.
I did a podcast on that...just do a quick search
Welcome back Mike!
I want Mike Webster as my mentor.
Legend.
There's only one legend...and he's no longer with us...but thank you!
How much just a week can change with RSP ETF now below the 60-day EMA line. DJI now close to the 100-day EMA line. Mike has the 1978 Microsoft staff photo look.
Depends on the strategy. If you got a 10 tier system, you got ten 10 chances to be right.
Thank you. Thanks for shaving that muskrat off ur face too
Webbys voice has improved a bit
This is as good as it gets...I have a vocal cord disord...I know its hard to listen to...thanks for putting up with it
It's pretty simple - go for high relative strength trading above the 21 day EMA
Welcome back Mike. He lost weight!
More than 51.50 lbs & counting;)
show us how to beat the market Mike.
The Goal is to become financially stable by next quarter
Mike is a Dave Grohl lookalike for sure
