very good work Texas Instruments.
Have a 10 year old DLP projector, still has bright vibrant colors like when it was new.
then whats the reason for stuck pixels, how do those individual pixel move -electro statically, electromagnetically.
Electrostaticly
Is any work being done on improving rainbow effect (RBE), or is that handled on the system side?
My BenQ projecgtor has a double RGB wheel to avoid the Rainbow effect., works flawless imo.
way to advance for Texas and the USA in general.. please sell and outsource Texas Instrument to China.
lets put the cherry on top..
nahh very fascinating when you see these DMD chips from TI.. mindblowing how thye can make it this small and balance these mirrors on such small hinges.
got an 0.33" in my Wemax Fengmi projector that are 1080p with x2 XPR pixelshifting.
How do we manipulate the DMD??
which is the smallest and cheapest module available?
how to control this chip? I need a drive circuit board right?
probably start with a dev kit where the chip is already soldered to a development board. www.electronicdesign.com/technologies/embedded-revolution/article/21805540/building-an-embedded-dlp-projector-for-99-and-a-beaglebone
Can you make my costomise chip?
👍
made in red state that is no longer great application for tv now days
Where is the diy dlp projector tutorial, I know the chip can be bought for under 500$, and a fpga capable of pushing enough data to it are under 100. Come on the title mislead me into thinking this was an actual tutorial. Smh
P.S. specifically speaking about the 4k dlp chip.
Seconded
How would you even begin doing that? The optics involved, the color wheel synchronization, the processing of the micromirrors... If it's a project for fun, great. If your aim is to actually make a working 4K DLP projector, you're wasting your time.
