    Thanks Ann. Very informative. 3 questions:
    1. I have a number of Certificates. Can I include them at the education section?
    2. For the publication section, can I mention the newsletters that I have written? I have 6 years of experience doing this for my organisation.
    3. For the final section, References, besides their names, should I include their job titles, email addresses and telephone numbers?

      Actually, CV is different from a resume based on where you are.
      What is referred to as a CV in the US is a resume in the UK.

    Thank you for this video. I have just edited my cv and it looks crisper.. lol.
    Still I will appreciate if you could elaborate on what goes in the research experience section (in a graduate application cv) and the length. How does the research experience section differ from the publications and technical competencies section.
    On a lighter note...This community service of yours (like we say here in Nigeria "mad o"...lol) is very apt and much needed for our Nigerian and perhaps international community.

Would you say listing it as freelance or self-employed, listing the company or just the freelance site, listing everything or just the jobs relevant to the purpose of the CV... I do have a question, and hopefully I reach you in time before submitting my CV, however I am wondering if I did attend an online Master's program but did not finish or continue there, am I supposed to include that in my CV?

      Also, I am applying for grad school for graphic design. I studied graphic design in my undergrad and because of this, they might be expecting more than just 12 point Times New Roman. In this case, do you think it would be acceptable to use a different typeface to design my CV, but still make it very legible, simple, and clean to understand?

      For grad school you have already stated that in your SOP so no need to restate it in your CV
