The customization is stellar but I still think the game's pitifully small car roster and absolutely piss easy dificulty hurt it (The removal of Nagoya and Osaka sucks too. Same with the Wangan-Yokohane-Yokohama lines being omitted, but IIRC there was construction going on there at the time so they couldn't laser scan them. At least the Shibuya/Shinjuku lines sort of offset this.)
Me beating most of the game with the Aristo made me realize how unfortunately pitiful the AI was (I love JDM luxury but I'm still aware they aren't sports cars by any means). IIRC the AI just takes corners way too slowly (in stark contrast to TXR3, where they almost always divebomb into tight/narrow corners, making high powered opponents on C1 or Nagoya Speed Ring laughable in late game). I still prefer TXR Zero giving each opponent somewhat unique behaviour and driving styles.
ginkkong since you would have to rehash the save file your better off looking for the xbox360 save file editor and you can put unlimited money, its pretty easy
