Drew, while sailing across the Indian Ocean in 1995 I got thrown overboard into the ocean and fishermen found me floating in the mid sea and saved my life to the Comoros Island of Anjouan. At dinner with the deputy governor on the big island, Moroni, and feeling overwhelming gratitude for saving my life I made a promise to them that I will name my first child after the Island of Comoros. His wife said to name her Anjouan, since that is the Island I was saved to. My 15 year old daughter's name is Anjouan.
My love for the (my) people of the Comoros is beyond imagination. I will give my life for my people of The Comoros any second without a thought.
