Really great interview, you did a great job. I respect all the comments but it seems to me that despite internet age some people is not well informed.
I agree, it's more to do with their culture of self-improvement so they focus on themselves more... i think it has both good and bad aspects like everything else in the world

Japanese have a love affair with France when some Japanese get there they have culture shock and litteraly break down
It is called Paris Syndrome パリ症候群. They get disappointed because reality if fare from what they have been idealizing about.

France got all landscape besides desert, which is not really cool anyway.

Koreans' favourite country is Japan because Japanese society are so trusting towards foreigners. A South Korean tourist committed 24 acts of crimes in just 1 week of visiting Japan. This includes sexual assault and theft in Kyoto.
