Sakura doesn't even bother when Sasuke leaves, she has her own life being one of Konoha's pillars and loves spending time with her daughter and friends. She knows that when Sasuke leaves it's because he has an important mission and she knows he is always gonna come back. Her happiness does not depend on Sasuke only.

by the way for those of you who didn't watch this episode, for the first time in the episode of Boruto we can see sasuke using a train to travel like a normal person since his rinnegan turned into rinne-gone, it seems sasuke has misses all the practicality of the rinnegan and its teleportation abilities 🤣
Also the rich boy Tento who appeared in 148 got mentioned in this episode so that makes him canon.
Eh we already know later in the series that Sasuke actually travels by foot insanely quickly.

Sakura is beautiful as always. I have always wondered how, without innate cheats, she was able to achieve heights. Bro chill out the show was like all the way caught up to the books like there was absolutely nothing new and now they are just barely 2 books ahead and you already want them to move on and adapt them?? I understand telling them to take a break but immediately wanting all the book stuff it’s like you want there to be a year-long hiatus or something or an even longer stretch of anime-originals. Obviously this is setting up some other smaller story so we should just hope that it’s interesting and the other ones are also interesting with more interesting characters that we like until they have time and space to animate code arc…

At this point, Sakura's role has been reduced to where you'd forget she was originally on a team with Naruto and Sasuke. She's gotten much stronger and more mature, but she's still on the sidelines.
Even naruto and sasuke aren't utilized well in boruto. What hope can we have for sakura who has been sidelined since naruto series?

This is not true to the source material. In the mangas, Sausuke always spoke to both of them before he left.
The anime is set in a slightly different continuity. More story arcs happen, and some conversations go differently.

@@yejihour1281 Sakura acknowledging their roles doesn't mean Sakura likes the situation. She has no choice but to deal with it if we're honest. It's insane but the scenario's probably common in the Ninja world. Sasuke being on all of these away missions has affected Sarada's relationship with her dad too. The only way Sakura and Sasuke can settle down is when they both retire. This is not ideal parenting 101.
It's a shame to be that strong, but never get the credit she deserves from the fan base.

In a sense, I don't know what to really think of this scene between Sakura and Salad... Sakura's the one who told Salad that Boruto's out with Sasuke to replace Sasuke's hawk... which means Sasuke talked to Sakura and told her everything... and then in the same scene, Sakura's emotional (for comedic effect) about Sasuke not communicating with her. Hmmm. It was weird.

SInce Sasuke is comparatively more involved in Boruto's life compared to Naruto (who is barely there due to being Hokage), in a way Sasuke is effectively Boruto's father figure / parent.

Ooo man this feels like a good mini-arc as we reach closer to 1000 episodes. I know Toei did that amazing episode for One Piece when they reached 1000, and while Studio Pierrot gave us that Road of Naruto special, I feel like they got something big for episode 280 of Boruto (which makes it 1000 episodes of the ninja franchise). And to think it would coincide with the jump festa no less meaning we getting something big for sure
Yes I love when they’re traveling to different parts of the ninja world and there is beautiful green scenery with new characters and we’re following two of the best characters in the show so yeah this arc is looking great
