Not sure how any insert would save your tire from slash damage. Are those brush guards on you handlebars?

Imagine crashing and landing on one of those cactus's lol I just put cushcore pro in my bike today and my god my hands are wrecked. What is the computer you have on your bars?
totally agree on the ride feel and extra tire damping..... although, i think I'm too much of a newb to be trusted with lower PSI.... with cushcore AND at 30psi I destroyed 3 rims..... lol (the first destroyed one was at 23 psi...)
I think you're spot on though... it should be treated as a suspension component, and not so much a "you can ride however the eff you want through chunk" hahaha
even knowing the trick to pushing the bead down for easy install and removal of tires.... it's still an extra pain in the ass on the trail to pull them out and run a tube.. XD

Yep I hear you for sure! So many benefits and not just rim protection. I've always run pretty low pressures occasionally to my detriment. I must say I've had the joy of riding out a trail wearing a cushcore like a man-bag haha not ideal for trailside repairs. I'll post up my stage 1 and 3. Forgot to film stage 2. Damn those stages were long 🥵
