This made me cry. For lost innocence, lost opportunities, lost loves. I never had a happy childhood, we were poor for the most of it, but the number of times I have been kicked while down... Spice Girls were a beacon of emotion for me. I don't regret sharing my feelings with you. I'd rather have had emotional moments than none. At least I can recognize the good times because I lived through the hard times. 🙏

Agreed. I feel like most didn't pay much attention to her during their peak but in hindsight she really is the most powerful vocalist of the group and only got better as a solo artist.

Wow, this song has aged so well, and so has them. To be honest it feels more of a perfect match to them now than it was n 1998. After all these years it seems like they have evolved into the song. Like Viva Forever was destined to mean more in the future then when it was written.

I agree! Back then i loved it and thought it was a standout but today, i would probably tear up seeing them singing it live. It sounds even better now and is so emotional. I hope they go on tour again and i can see them live.

@@blackheartbev3098 Geri also went solo FIRST and in dramatic fashion. You can celebrate Geri and still acknowledge her faults, she isn't a good singer or dancer. She tries very hard and she is very intelligent and knows how to market herself.

They wrote their own songs as well. Geri was the main songwriter on this one and they can all sing live. They're the real deal and people never gave them credit for it.
