Surely, they were brainwashed by their leaders and we can not blame Maoists soldiers for it. I found his explanation of Royal Massacare to be quite interesting. Remark from Astrologers can not be taken as conclusive. Also, bickering in a family is also can not be taken as prerequisite for massacare. There are so many questions about the Massacare and which were not questioned such as why no family member of Gyanendra Shah were riddled with bullets at that time, why the bodies were taken to Military Hospital in secrecy and no post morton were done,? Why Tribhuvan Sadan were dismantled after that, and so on. Massacare occured at night time and next morning news were full of Crown Prince Dipendra being responsible for the massacare. How the news went to media in that short period is also best leave to guess work.
