When I try UV edit the colour isn't transferring to the mesh, is there any fix for this?

@@SamRoblox_ how do i export the texture as a png after doing that, I've exported the mesh as .obj but I now need to export the texture aswell as a png and then upload to roblox
Hello im making a roblox shirt and i need to get the texture from the ugc im getting inspo of so im wondering how to get the texture from the already existing ugc
For some reason when I hover the item over the color pallete it didnt work. I even checked the video 5 more times and saw I did everything that you did. It just doesnt work and idk what to do.

yo once its textured how do I go by importing it into roblox with the texture? it's just fully blank when its imported for me without the UV map on it sadly :/
download the image texture from blender and add it to the mesh properties in roblox :)

How do i import the item with the texture to roblox studio?
This is a year late, but export as OBJ & open asset manager in roblox studio, and then press the upload button and select your file, should upload.
@@epicldgk5877doesn’t work. That only works when you use image textures in blender. Do you know how to import your own textures from blender to Roblox???

when i try to get the thing up for project from view it doesnt show, i click u and it dosent work :,)
make sure you have something selected in edit mode. it will only project from view what you have selected so if nothing is selected nothing will be procected

when you switch from tyexture paint to uv editing the colors dont show on the box on the left or on the model what do i do?\
its hard to explain in text but you wanna hit that button that shows the textures, should be in top right on the middle panel

itll be due to your uvs. follow the entire tutorial including the uv shells bit and lmk if it still doesnt work
i cant color my mash on texture cus it say it missing texture
you need to add one in the material properties
when I click texture paint, it turns pink and says that it's missing textures
that happens when.. you don't... add textures..? Try to redo the tutorial, idk what you want man.

you will have ticked a little x around the top right hand corner of blender. There are 3 buttons X Y and Z and if you tick one it mirrors it on that angle so turn that off and you should be good
make sure u apply all the modifiers

Yo . You can go above the square there is open image and to the left there is a little square to the left of the text:" color palet" click on it and you will see the colors that you made while watching the video

thats weird. go into edit mode on your mesh and delete everything using A and see if they come up then

you did not show how to get texture pain to uv editing. You just cliped til when you had it there. So comfusing
i know this is from 3 months ago BUT if you literally WATCHED THE TUTORIAL, it TELLS you how to do it. (viewport shading)
