When Merrill was in his thirties he was hot and Alan was hot as were Wayne and Jay and who wouldn't want 5o listen to a group of men who, before they retired, were talented, friendly, hard working,and HOT!!!!
When Merrill sang SHARP DRESSED MAN, I get the distinct feeling he's singing about the men in his family and himself!
Geez, I thought Merrill was going to sing this song. Ah-ha! You fooled me! Yes, I have to agree: Merill is definitely a sharp-dressed man! I can just picture hearing Merrill singing this song, though. He'd rock it!

This song is supposedly being sung by Alan, Wayne, Merrill,and Jay BUT the song and the lips of those guys never mesh.
When Alan, Wayne, Merrill, and Jay 1st went "country" MAN! were they hot (especially Alan and Merrill!!)!

Once Merrill became a complete "fur face"' he became 100%more attractive! Donny, on the hand,, looks better clean-shaven'
When Donny was in his late teens and in his early to mid twenties, MAN! Was he HOT! But I'd never hit on him, I like living and what do you want to bet Debbie is good with her fists? Plus, Donny, besides being very handsome, has a good brain behind that extra handsome face! Plus, Debbie's the only woman he'll ever have eyes for.
I agree a video of Merrill signing this song would be the bomb! He has always been so handsome, and still is. Thank you, this was very nice.
