CSU Spur Sizzle Reel

CSU Spur is free and open to the public all year. Spur offers a behind-the-scenes look at research, science, and careers in food, water, and health - and it’s a place for all, from school groups to families to professionals!
In the Vida building focused on health, try virtual reality, see horses provide therapies to humans and walk on underwater treadmills, watch veterinarians perform surgery on dogs and cats … then, kids can become the veterinarian and treat stuffed animals in the Kid’s Vet Clinic.
In the Terra building - meant to connect people to the food they eat - visitors can watch soil and plant researchers work on problems in labs, see food grow in green roof and rooftop greenhouses spaces, take cooking classes, watch chefs in action … and kids can free-play in the Kid’s Kitchen!
Hydro, CSU Spur’s new building opens January 6 and is focused on water. Within Hydro, watch artists at work, see Denver Water’s Water Quality Laboratory operate, check out performances in a theater space, and explore how water uses can be matched to water types.
