a couple months ago I fulfilled my dream of visiting Kerry with my kids! It was some kind of "homecoming after 300 years", since my clan lived around Cahersiveen-Glenbeigh-Lough Caragh-Killorglin-Killarney, and left this area after the Irish rebels leaded by the O`Donoghue`s and fortified around Ross Castle were finally defeated by the Cromwellian invaders... Escaping detention, confiscation and eviction, they migrated to the Basque Country, and after getting integrated into the local society, the next generation moved to the Spanish colonies of Guam, the Philippines, and South America... Thus there is also another story that binds us to Iveragh-Dingle, and it involves the famous antarctic explorer Tom Crean (see South Pole Inn, Annascaul), who after 1 year stranded on the ice-shelf reached South Georgia with Schackleton, and organized the rescue of their friends in Elephant Island by the Chilean navy... the third officer of that ship happened to be my great-grandfather! Greetings from wild, wet, windy, and wonderful Western Patagonia, Chile

I absolutely love your videos but I have a big favor to ask. When you are panning your camera from left to right, please please slow down. It can be dizzying when you turn the camera so quickly. 😊😊

The video made me a little dizzy with the quick panoramic views. I wanted to watch it all, but couldn't for that reason. Just to let you know. Been planning trip there for 20 years, it keeps getting cancelled for one reason after another. :(

Nice video. I noticed you went counterclockwise instead of clockwise. I had read that the tour buses go clockwise. .. would be nice if you could put a banner on the bottom of the video and with the name of which place you visited I had a hard time looking up some of these places because of questionable spelling

Should have clarified the statue with the footballer, people outside ireland wouldn't understand that he didn't play football/soccer ,football means gaelic football which is like a mixture of soccer ,rugby and basketball.Great video great to see ireland being show cased on youtube

Insurrection? No. You must be referring to CNN reporting. Your tour makes me NOT want to visit Ireland.

@@leary210275 Sinead referred to the January 6th protests after the 2020 election in the US as an "insurrection" while talking about a CNN reporter from one of the towns. Many Americans find that term partisan and inaccurate. None of the people arrested that day were charged with insurrection. It would probably be best to steer away from comments about issues in other countries or you run the risk of driving away visitors. I consider it the first rule of travel - don't comment on how other countries are run. It's not respectful.

Absolutely beautiful country ! Pagan festival for the goat, 😂... Bring King Puck to New Orleans Mardi Gras, and he can be a Guest King ! Many of us are still ashamed of the Capitol Insurrection. It is not representative of the majority of Americans, though many won't admit to that publicly.
