The opinions expressed in this video were not influenced by or paid for by any outside individual or company. I use and test lots of products that are sent to me or that I buy myself. In the end, I only talk about the products that I find interesting.
Don't forget the step where you record yourself sitting there for a couple minutes, and then create a scene that loops this recording. Way better than sitting through all those boring meetings :)
😂 great tip!
Matt is a genius !!!!
😂😂😂
I always do this 🤣
♥️ *Ha!*
I had to go through lots of videos to learn how to do this and you sir explained it pretty easily in ten minutes. I couldn't find how to play a playlist for sports classes so I thank you for this.
yes
it's actually 10 mins and 2 secs...
Same here 😊
Alternate title: How to go from $80 setup to $300 setup in less than 10 seconds.
Facts it's never easy.
300? More like 1000
LOL
I immediately stopped watching when he basically said... if you buy a DSLR then your video will be better. idiot
Yeah. I really thought he would make adjusments on the white balance, and some tips on lighting. This is just ridiculous
When he said "life is starting to slowly go back to normal" I thought "yup, hehe. nope." Thanks for the video!!
Haha..me too😂😂😂
Why do you need any plugins for OBS, i thought it can do this out of the box?
Depends where you live I guess. Here things have been normal for months.
And here I am impressing my students with my gamer headphones. I wish I had the energy to make this happen. Thank you, maybe if this continues next year I’ll come back to this. Love, peace and look after ourselves.
This video needs to go viral. All the educational institutions and non profit organizations, or whoever using zoom for their work platform these days. They need to watch this video.
Thanks for putting this together. I wasn't aware of OBS Studio, but am quite aware of the need for it. With the help of your video, it should be pretty easy to get it set up and working and make those video conferences much better.
Thanks Tom. Totally with you. I improved my Zoom calls with soft LED light and connecting my T2i to my Macbook but your video inspired not to procastinate further and implement OBS. Better control and creative options. Cheers
This is a fantastic, easy to understand, and to the point tutorial. One of the best on the internet.
Thanks Tom!
Tom, your video instruction ROCKS! Works on the first try! Thank you so much. 👍😁 Now all my video and audio will look and sound amazing. My Logitech C920 Webcam never made me look so good until now. Having a wireless iPhone for video camera using iVcam is so amazing. The ultimate setup. Thanks again.
Thank You a lot! Until 10 minutes ago I was pretty sure that OBS was useful only for streamers on CZcams and Twitch. But now I have a new point of view. Very good tutorial.
Dear Tom, once again a great presentation. Thank you.
Thank you :) that virtual audio cable really helps with filtering out random noise
I believe this is one of the best Zoom instructional videos available in the World. Thank you.
Another great video Tom. I love how you cut to the chase and show the physical detail of everything you present. I have been asked to livestream an event and have never done that in my professional career. There is a lot more to it than I thought but I am going to borrow a Blackmagic ATEM Mini for it. OBS is a great option though and apparently if your laptop can handle it you can use it to switch between a couple of cameras.
Brilliant! - Simply put, clear step by step explanation. I didn't know it would be this easy. Thanks Tom
I just tried it and it works really well! Thank you so much for making the efforts to upload this video!
Fantastic tutorial! One of the best I have come across on the internet. I searched on how to improve Zoom conferencing for weeks now. I don't know why, but in the past few weeks, your video never came up on CZcams search. This would've saved me so much time if I found it earlier.
Great tutorial Tom! Thanks for explaining it in good detail
It's looking fantastic! Great job. 100 times better. I think the light and sound is the most important but the camera will probably help the lighting as well and not have that auto-exposure from web-cam. You can set an exposure and Depth of Field etc.
This is AMAZING! Thank you so much for this quick and clear video
Thank you!, subbed!
Omg !! Wowwwww!!!!!!!! This is the most helpful video on CZcams thank you I’m so grateful 💜💜💜💜💜💜
A truly excellent video! I have been using ecamm, which is great but I couldn’t get it to work that well with zoom. I shall start playing tomorrow! Many thanks!
Thanks for the Tips! Very Helpful!
This blew my mind! I didn't know this existed! Thank you! Hugs from Mexico! 💯
Thank you mate. This is fantastic.
Very good video , simple and informative !!
Thanks Tom! Incredible instructive for me.
♥️ _Huh... !_
*Learned something new (and invaluable) today.*
Thank you, Tom.
Excellent info, and very helpful. Thanks! 👌
Great video!! Thank you for making it so much easier to understand.
This really helped me. Going to Implement all of these things today
you are my new guru, thank you man, liked and suscribed
Really helpful information. Will get to work on this...
Excellent Info Packed Video, very useful. THANK YOU!!!
This is awesome, thank you. i’m using my Fujifilm X-T2 and it works great thanks again.
Title should say: Enhance your video quality changing your camera and mic and reserve 2hrs before the meeting to configure the stuff
Thank you ☺️
Thanks for the explanation !
Really so pro. Thank you.
Excellent video tutorial. Thank you 👌🏼
oh man many thanks!!!
Awesome! Particularly like the pre-roll capabilities, great foe 'presentation' will be starting shortly' kind of content.
Thank you...love from Canada
Excellent video! Thank you!
Excelente, muchas gracias por compartir. No soy fan de usar zoom pero a veces uno quiere verse mejor cuando lo haces por trabajo o con los amigos.
Thank you. Very informative. 👍
Good info. Thanks, Tom. 👍
Thank you ❤️ it solved my issue
Bro this was a really great walkthrough.
Thanks David
Really useful, thanks!
Loving your Bell & Howell 16mm projector in the background! :-)
WOW Great video! this is exactly what i was looking for. Thank you so much!!
Great video! Don't forget you can add VST audio plugins in OBS to enhance the sound. Also, OBS let's you offset your audio source in milliseconds for syncing with the video. An alternative virtual audio driver is source-nexus free, but only available for Mac.
Amazing!! Thank you so much!!!
This is all great, only issue is I am not making any money at the moment so Mac cam and daylight is what im working with!
Beautiful! God bless you brother. This info is truly a blessing. Just Sub'd. God bless
thank you so much for this tutorial thank you so much
Great suggestions, very well done.
Collect some scenes for business use, and some alternates for the virtual happy hours. Fun.
Thank you, friend. Very informative.
what a great video .. this was so helpful !!
Great video, lots of effort, really appreciate it
Thank you!
Thank you very much for your post , I’m
Now elated to be able to start to use OBS
Very useful thanks
Thank you for this video.
Great video, well explained
Epic!! ty
Thanks for sharing. In addition, I am using NDI Tools which is free. It can bring live video from my smart phone via the network into OBS as a second video source so I now I can switch between 2 different camera angles.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Excellent video.
Thank you!
One issue you’ll face with zoom is resolution. You will see your content (camera, lower thirds, slides, etc) in OBS looking great but when you get them into Zoom through the virtual camera, the resolution is bad. This is because Zoom does not support HD 1080p video at the moment, due to the pandemic. So keep that in mind.
that was my question also. its ok when I direct present, but through OBS its fuzzy and useless. I reached out to Zoom support, but obviously nothing. You say "due to the pandemic", does that mean they have announced something?
I’m agree , the video resolution very bad from another participant, also when you open power point from obs to zoom 🤣
Thanks Tom - that was the best video how to Enhance Your ZOOM Video Conferencing Qualityn - All thebest
Tom, you are fantastic
I spent hours trying to figure this out in OBS when Zoom got popular. Who knew you needed a whole plugin to use the virtual cam feature? Thank you!!!
Virtual Camera is now part of the base package for OBS. All you need to do now is click on Start/Stop Virtual Camera over near the start Streaming and settings button area.
Yes, Virtual amera is now part of the core program in v. 26 release. And it works very well! But it still doesn’t output audio, unfortunately. So the virtual audio cable is still needed.
@@oneiropagides342 not 100% true, provided audio settings in OBS are set properly, and computer audio is “joined” in zoom, it will send thru audio just fine without the need of the virtual audio plugin. I do not have virtual audio cable plugin installed and my audio routes from the OBS virtual camera just fine.
Includes great informations for beginners like me.,feel like gold🥳🥳🥳
Thank You Tom ♥♥♥
Fantastic! Now all I need is money. Wish I could enhance that first.
Oh, what a lovely accent!
Requires that you have both OBS Studio and Zoom running at same time. There was no advantage of using OBS with Zoom unless you want to enhance your Zoom recording. Stick with regular Zoom settings. OBS Studio and Streamlabs OBS is for people who want to get their stuff "creative videos" on Twitch, You Tube or some other website. However, if you have a DSLR / EOS mirrorless camera such as Canon M50 or SONY A6000 with a RODE microphone or other mic., then using the Guide that Tom Antos provided will make a difference for beginners with more expensive equipment. I tried enhancing the use of my Logitech BRIO 4K webcam using this guide and it did not produce a better teleconferencing experience or any difference than using Zoom by itself. However, Tom does deserve credit as there is some benefit to watching and following this guide/ tutorial. Thank you! and be safe.
supercool! VERY helpful!!!
very useful tricks!
Thanks for the tip that i can improve my quality for free by buying some equipment. Really helped me out!
Perhaps you should watch the video again. It shows how you can do it for free using free software and better lighting decisions then there are tips how to improve it even more by buying accessories or using your existing Bluetooth mic. Ita amazing what you can do if you actually pay attention first. Best of luck!
@@TomAntos You are totally right on that. Sry for accusing you in an inappropriate sarcastic way. I will watch it all the way through. I was confused. Thanks for your respone!
Great video. Thank you.
Beautiful presentation sir.. helped a lott. Thank u soooo muchhh😇😇💐🥂🥂
It is very useful, thank you.
Super helpful and great timing! Thanks Tom! I’m working on setting up a rig for a virtual conference and have been trying to figure this stuff out. Do you know of a good lav mic to plug into the Rode transmitter so I don’t have to connect the whole box to my presenter/talent?
Hi, yes use this lav mic that you can find on Amazon amzn.to/2ZZSYjJ or also on B&H bhpho.to/2W9Ld9O
Me
Watching the title : Yes
Watching the whole video : Nope
Wow so crisp.
Thanks for a nice ticks.
Thank you Tom Antos
very use ful for biginers
Loved it..❤️❤️
Great video, Tom. I use Ecamm Live with my DSLR, direct USB connection, and Macbook Pro as my main stream set up, but I also have a BM Video Converter for when I want to use my PC laptop with OBS. Haven't done much with that yet, but this will help speed things up nicely. Stay safe!
The OBS Studio information was really interesting but the stated premise of the video was a little misleading because the most important thing you did to enhance your video and audio quality involved buying a video camera, big light, and headphones with a good quality built-in mic, all of which are definitely not free, and probably overkill for the basic video conferencing that I and others like me do.
It wasnt misleading. You saw what you wanted to see.
@@COLE_PRODUCTIONS at 1:15 in the video you state clearly that you will show us how to do a "simple and free upgrade to improve the quality."
@@benkpeltz and he immediately followed that up with what he meant. The hardware aspect of the video were suggestions. I guess common sense isn't all that common.
@@COLE_PRODUCTIONS good luck getting anywhere near the improvements that he got without the hardware upgrades. I'm not upset by it. I genuinely found the video interesting. But including the free claim in the hook is definitely misleading. 🤷♂️
you can use your hp camera and there are tutorials for it as well. cant expect to be spoonfed all the time
Great video showcasing enhancements regarding Zoom video conferencing quality. Additionally, one can also use tools like R-HUB HD video conferencing servers, Webex, Gomeetnow, Gotomeeting etc. for getting wonderful video conferencing experience.
Thank you very much for the excellent tutorial. Just a question, ¿does OBS work with Teams?
great video thank you and tell your wife to keep up the good work!!
Very helpful
