I'm in my 50's guys, and this video was awsome !!! We need more, non poser thrash youth !! Passing the torch !
I’m Right here and I’m trying to bring it back to the time we’re thrash was the ultimate genre of music!
I started a band called piranha as a call back to real thrash metal
@@mike285 I played from 79-2000. Three different bands. Iron dragon, Carrion, and Sad Ida. Gave it up because everything, including the crowd changed.
@@67cuda38 damn that shit sucks, but I promise I will bring back real music back to the top, im mike btw
@@mike285 Do us all a favor, and be original. Don’t copy anyone. So much of metal today is like boy-band-metal. Keep it underground. It’s the only way to keep it breathing. Fuck the record companies ! Don’t do it for the fame and fortune. The best advice I got from the 70’s supergroups. Fame and fortune is a gilded cage of your own making. The mid-sized clubs are best. Get away from covers as fast as possible. Let the ideas come naturally. Forced ideas often fail. Don’t be afraid to experiment, nor be afraid to move past failed experiments. The internet has stolen the trial and error it takes to develop a great new sound. Hook up with members who become a family. Those who don’t fully connect will be the first to cause issues usually. You’ll do best if everyone has the same goals in mind. Always keep the lines of communication open. Little things tend to snowball. If you all can’t be openly honest with each other,.......it’s doomed too fail. These are just a few tips. I hope you take them to heart. Don’t jump at record contracts. That’s the first step to that cage I warned about. If what you have is good, you’ll have a huge following. If not, keep searching for your sound. Don’t get discouraged. Enjoy life, the music, and the party, but not to much, lol ! If it’s right, everything will come together, and it may feel you have no choice but to grow. This is when you have to make a life decision. Stay small and independent, or jump in the big business swamp. I chose independent at 15, always. I like my freedom too much for a cage.
Haha... and I was wondering how the heck would "you and I and a cherry pie" morph into the "raining blood" ......
Cracked me up. Was perfect.
And they brought it back at the end!!!!
0:47 microphone feedback
Hell ya
I need these guys to live next door to me. Hell ya!!!!
You tapped directly my 80s experience. I salute you all
Howlermouse it's not an 8ies thing. It's a music thing. Good music doesn't datel
Howlermouse Triggered
He was talking about the 80's fashion.
I thought the studio version was phenomenal, this is even better ! Loved the credits, loved the band ! Talking with Aaron, it should be said, this video was only made possible because OMF finally found the kids that were talented enough to pull it off. Very talented, hard working musicians, all practicing their parts, by themselves, all in different parts of the country, this was the first time they played together..... what a performance ! Bravo !
As long as young kids keep discovering metal, it'll live on forever. \m/
Hahaha this is awesome, from the opening vocal to the end. Only thing missing is the mom saying “and remember, no Slayer!”
HOPE RESTORED! Well done everyone!
I don't have much hope for the future but, what little i do have rests on the kids from the O'Keefe Music Foundation
.
This cover is 46&2 lvl of greatness really nice job :D
Офигенно!!! Привет из Беларуси!🤘
metal is definitely here to stay, nothing will ever replace it.
These youngin's are true artist .. This is real music.. Keep rocking y'all.. #metalrules
Amen
The singer was spot on
The O'Keefe Music Foundation, bringing back music the best way possible, and doing the VERY best along with it. The best thing about music is that it's all real. It's not like movies and TV shows where they have to add extra sounds and visual effects to make it more interesting. And what better way to show it than this? OMF FOREVER!!!
Love this the many voices of my heart
Had a blast doing all these! As the girl with the “mad skate moves” and my dad as the wedgie guy, and lets not forget my sister who broke her whole leg shooting this!
hope she heals quickly
Phillip Ramirez oh this was shot a long time ago, shes all better now :)
good to hear. but still hard to hear. i have broken too many bones.
Now she's ready for the Pit in Slayer's farewell tour
pics or it didn’t happen
Love the changes you've adopted. Especially the snare hits upfront.
Dylan Rippe at 16 writes such a beautiful song...can't wait to hear what she comes up with in the future.
agreed
Theses kids never cease to amaze me, they are so freaking talented and they deserve thejr recognition. What a version of an already brutal and fan loved song as raining in blood. Slayer would be proud.
The world needs more kids like this
Damn, wish we had this to skate to when I was a kid. Wow!!!
If this shit played when I was a kid and skating, I would’ve suddenly turned into a Friggin Hockey player started checking anyone and everyone into the boards man! Probably would’ve been kicked out permanently!
These kids always give me hope for the future. Its blindly bright.
Hope this kids keeps thrashing !
Long live to SLAYER
At 42 years old, this gives me hope. Keep rocking !!
Awesome. I appriciate the more modern take on it. afew liitle twists and turns that differ from the original. I like it. Great work guys. Im sure Slayer would be proud
It has got to be such a blast for these students to perform in this videos. The production values are great and the talent is just incredible. I cannot stop watching all these covers they've done over the years and its been so fun to watch many regular faces grow and hone their talents. O'Keefe - don't stop until you can't go any longer. You are doing a wonderful service for these kids and it's great to see them being continually exposed to the older classic stuff even I grew up with and before that. It keeps the culture alive and strong
Fukn badass, kids vocals were on point
This music calms me down!
What the heck did I just watch? It's freaking amazing! Slaayyyeeerrr!
Old metal head is impressed and hopeful for the future of metal
OMF..... More like OMG!!!! These kids are awesome. They rocked it! Great job to everyone. I'm sure their parents are proud of them. I know I am. Good job B! (You know who you are)
That vocalist is amazing
FucK! That's one of the best cover songs I've ever heard!
Aaron O'Keefe...STILL DOING IT RIGHT!!!!! WOW...Curtis is still destroying drums!!! Holy wah! Somebody get that kid a band!
Holy Skate places. That's my old stomping grounds!!! Place holds a ton of memories for me!!!
Now this is the music I listened to at the skating rink. Friday night was metal night at our local rink and since we didn't have any rock clubs around back then this was where all the metalheads hung out.
This is beyond amazing.Thank you,OMF.
That vocalist doing the vocals to raining blood has some badass hair
You all seem to be having such a great time, and I too was transported back to 1988. I was 15, and had just discovered Slayer and Metallica.

Seriously now. Put aside all the CZcams and internet fame and what not. This singer is something else. We need him to reign on stages. In stadiums.
