2:22 I love the small ending detail of Qibli being absolutely mortified with what the others did to Darkstalker. Remember everyone: Qibli had no idea about the Peacemaker plan. Moon wanted to convince Darkstalker to go through with it, Kinkajou and Foeslayer tricked him into doing it, and Qibli was completely unaware of it until after it happened. It shocked him as much as it shocked Darkstalker in his final moments.

@@Quill55169 months later and I finally saw the movie (1989 original of course) and yeah Qibli is a lot like Ariel in this situation… except he’s way too smart to make a deal with the devil.

In Darkstalker's case, this has a double meaning. It could literally mean Qibli's voice like in The Little Mermaid, or it could mean his free will.

Darkstalker and Qibli’s final conversation is without a doubt my favorite moment in the entire Wings Of Fire franchise. So much phenomenal hinting and foreshadowing throughout literally the entirety of Arc 2 had been leading to this ultimate concluding conversation: the antagonist offering the protagonist his dream come true to ensure his own victory. Darkstalker and Qibli are dark and light reflections of each other who stand on opposite sides of morality, yet they fully understand each other. Five whole books of hints and clues were placed around all over the place to symbolize their similarities and it had been done beautifully to build up to this epic finale. Qibli and Darkstalker are a perfect example of how to peak a “just like you” hero/villain dynamic.
That is why I have eagerly awaited for this Wings Of Fire MAP more than any other. I am ready to be blown away!
I love how seaweed is used to show Darkstalker brainwashing everyone. It’s a neat parallel to the othermind in Arc 3
I like the scene when Darkstalker chases Qibli and it becomes black and white, very well animated :D

YAS THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME
OMG it was so beautiful ! I loved seeing it, I remember how some of the parts were made for examples sketch’s and obviously wolfies. But I’m still surprised by how well it ended up resulting. It’s so awsome to see how all this work from so many persons came together to make something this beautiful. I loved the streams and the Premier and I loved everyone in them. I’m currently trying to learn the basics of drawing and this has inspired me more than ever to keep pushing and trying. The people in the streams were very nice and funny , as always I had a blast. And I just want to say this one more time, I’m so happy to be involved in all of this even as a simple viewer
I love how this is basically "What they were all Sea Dragons?"
This turned out so well! Everyone did an amazing job! I especially love how intense the ending gets! The sudden change to black and white as Qibli gets chased and then the sudden change back to color helps emulate the intensity and horror of Darkstalker and his defeat! Love it!
NOOO I MISSED THE POST LIKE FOREVER AGO! BUT REALLY! This turned out splendid dude! So much amazing artist in one sitting is marvelous to see the team work put into this project! I am thankful for being part of this spectacular masterpiece!

WOOOWW!!! I had no idea this map was ocean themed when I first glanced lmao. I LOVE the vibe and backgrounds, every part gave me goosebumps… where’s my jacket???

I'm an absolute sucker for underwater enviroment so this MAP will definitely be one of my favourites. The atmosphere and movements match the music fantastically, the whole project is so lively and dynamic! Designs deserve so much praise, I love how they manage to incorporate so many different water creatures, but still looking recognizable. Darkstalker is probably my favorite, he was so fun to draw!

Darkstalker is my FAVORITE wings of Fire character so I cried at the end of qiblis book and I’m never eating a strawberry again!
My phone died during the premiere, but This was so pog and super creative! I loved the concept, colors, cover choice, and especially the designs! All the animators did amazing, awesome work!
This entire thing was absolutely beautiful! Every participant put so much into this and it shows! Amazing work to everyone involved, you guys were amazing and made this stunning concept a gorgeous reality!
I'll miss the premiere, but I bet this will look amazing!

AAAAA THIS CAME OUT SO PERFECT!! Everything from the original storyboard and designs to the finished map and thumbnail was just INCREDIBLE, and I had a blast watching it develop! I do regret not taking part in it while I had the chance, but observing the maps progress was almost as enjoyable, and I’m so grateful for this project! Congrats to starcat for winning the thumbnail, PHENOMENAL work to everyone involved!!

Ok this may be weird to say here I just came back to look back at this masterpiece and in the sidebar there is a movie free with adds called big a$# spider so I think I’ll see that in my nightmares
I haven’t finished reading arc one yet. I feel as though this may have contained a few spoilers that I do not currently recognize. Besides that, the map itself is great! Although I may not understand all of its story, the animations were great! And the entire thing looked to be well organized as well. I shall re-watch it after I have read arc 2, then I can tell you my full opinion. But for now, great job with song choice and character design!

I have finished arc two about 2 weeks ago now. I was trying to find this for quite some time but couldn’t remember the name. I have just now come back and found it and can tell you: Wow. This does a very good job with conveying the story with all the important events. The script looked very well organized and thought out, like I mentioned in my previous comment. Now I have officially given my full opinion after just over a month.
