I like this kinda content
Man I remember these fights like it was yesterday.
Loved the fights. Loved the build ups and love that they are pals now.
Two brilliant fighters and personalitities. 💪🥊
More of this please. Eddie is wicked at storytelling, and it shows how much he loves his boxing.
George Groves is so under rated, he was a massive puncher. It’s a shame he seemed to have doubted his own stamina in the 2nd fight and tried to pace himself and ended up being chinned. The fast pace in the first fight was what gave the great froch nightmares
This was the fight that got me back into boxing, Groves is almost as good a salesman as Eddie!
Brilliant content. Need more of this
Modern day classic fight. Absolutely exhilarating fight this was & the whole build up & rivalry was fantastic
One of my happiest moments as a boxing fan was George Groves finally winning a world title and then beating Eubank Jr.
What a exellent video. Brilliantly produced, nostalgia to the max, Matchroom are different gravy
Legendary
This was a really good watch - defo need part 2. 👍👍
This is really good. A series of other rivals etc. Really interesting, more please. 👌

Ridiculous. Classic shitroom boxing.
I really enjoyed that! Well done Eddie my old mate 😁 Good work by the Matchroom producers… A wins a win 👊🏼😉
Great vid, great fight. Really put British boxing back on the map 👍
Great content loved it
Brilliant fight. 2 serious boxers!!!
Wow 10 years ago. A lot of things have changed for Eddie since. Hopefully we get even more of these big domestic fights now that hes working for Frank Warren. Exciting times ahead! 🥊
Behave “working for Frank Warren”😂
Great content
Great stuff 😁👍👊
Very enjoyable
When is part 2??
Genuine rivalry not like tye fake ones of today... great times
Where is part 11?
And the rest is history with Carl continually reminding us about the number of people at Wembley that night.😅😂
legendary shit.
Th stoppage will always be one of the worst of all time absolute madness
This is quality, that bit about Froch hyperventilating
We don’t need to hear froch groves again after all froch does online is bang ON and ON about it in every thing he posts - basically no recycling content 👍
These were the days sky sports fight nights . Just look at massive difference in atmosphere the guys on the MIC . To now on dead dazn fight nights on dazn put you to sleep
I like Eddie and this video is brilliant. Good insights and i know Froch is his man but anyone with 2 working eyes knows the tide wasnt turning in that fight. Its a myth that from round 6 onwards Froch was better,at the time of the stoppage he probably only won 2 rounds and thats being generous. Its ok to say he got lucky now Eddie! Great video though.
Cor ten years ago. Great night boozer right up, cheering on Froch.
Carl froch is one tough man, alot of super middleweight wouldnt of taken that punishment
What happened to Danny Teasdale
Still cant believe that stoppage 🤦♂️
Really original this. Froch and groves should do it too
Check Eddie 😂😂
I wonder how much Eddie paid the ref Howard Foster to produce that early stoppage when groves was getting on top of froch
And then they rematched in front of 80,000
Back when boxing was good. Poor stoppage for sure. I do think Froch would probably have gone on to stop him. But George should have been given the chance. I disagree with Eddie. I don't see how Carl could have won on points after the beatings of the previous rounds unless George completely folded.
Froch was a bit man down
So the shot that George dropped Carl with had nothing to do with George’s timing it was because Carl was frustrated?,,,,Eddie at his woeful best,,,lol.
Watch the fight, and you can see why AJ says McCraken didn't show Frotch how to defend. Sorry, Eddie, Mcraken had very little to do with anything Frotch did in his career. McCraken, as usual, gives BS advice to Carl in moments of crisis. If Carl didn't have an iron jaw and massive stamina he would have lost. Unfortunately, AJ doesn't have either and needs a trainer with a strategic mind when the going gets tough. Ben Davidson may be that guy. Having said that, Eddie, like his dad, is a great story teller!
Love this type of content, hate Eddie 😅
How much did Eddie pay Howard foster?
Unpopular opinion but I do agree with Eddie with the stoppage, now looking back, I do believe Froch would have cleaned George out pushing into the later rounds, then we wouldn't have had the rematch
Ps I hate the stoppage aswell
Instead of getting the two main men u have the prince with the silver spoon telling stories.
must be exhausting being so angry all the time
Froch vs Groves is overhyped... When have you ever heard an American talk about that fight or Carl Froch besides when talking about Andre Wards greatness
It was a big deal in the UK and rightfully so, America has so many big fights and fighters they are numb to it so not a fair comparison.
If Americans don’t talk about it, didn’t it even happen at all?
@@HuwEvans. No, it's just that other people should be talking more about it than the fighter himself.
True..world level its just a fight but brit level it was big ,the rematch was huge
I hear you. It wasn't a world level classic, but it was a great domestic dust-up. It also kickstarted the surge in British boxing for a decade and counting
