What about getting Isabell the makeup calendar one she got really really happy when she saw that I was 13 when I was aloud to wear makeup I'm 19 now with a huge collection I feel like Isabell wants makeup and girly things now but wont say anything because she is so polite and don't want to sound ungrateful bless her heart

Just had to pause as when you showed us your advent calendar I was gobsmacked. ....I bought the exact same one for myself, and I loved it so much I bought one for my sister and posted it to her. She was over the moon with it. It's a beautiful, traditonal calendar and we love it 🎅xx
When I see Christmas stuff trees,decorations. I’m like it’s way to early. But I think Sarah has just made me super exited and like I wanna do it right now like put up my tree right this second and it’s nearly eight o’clock lol

I’m 25 and I’ve not celebrated Christmas since 2010 when my Dad passed away as I’m an only child and my Mum suffers from really poor mental health so Christmas ended up being a time we dreaded.
However, this year I’m super excited as I had my baby girl last March so although she will only be 9 months at Christmas I can’t wait to celebrate and make memories again with her and my new little family!
(Although it won’t be as extravagant as your guys 🙊)

Okay.. so for everyone saying isabell doesn’t want toys, or shouldn’t be getting toys.. is crazy. I’m 21 years old my sister is 30 and this year we each got two of our favorite toys we used to play with back when we were little. I still get cute little toy things for Christmas sometimes! It’s fun! Let them be! I love your hauls btw and pretty sure I’ve watched all of your guys Christmas Eve and Christmas morning vlogs over 100 times this month!! Ahah I love them and I’m so exited for this years! Love y’all ❤️❤️

Even though I'm in TX you showed some great ideas for the advent calendars! We have Dollartree, 'Five and Below', Family Dollar and Dollar General to compare to your pound land etc. Kids just love ANYTHING in their calendar! If it's too big ... put it in the stocking!!!!

We still get chocolate advent calendars every year for me, husband and son, and I made a wooden advent calendar for my dog buster, I got him a wooden train from hobbycraft painted it and put numbers on the little doors, then I get doggy chocolate his favourite is peanut butter flavour, break it up and wrap each in tin foil for each day, he loves it bless him.

Hi Sarah! I was so excited to wake up and see you posted this video! For Christmas, our family likes to include chocolates in stockings and advent calendars or treat boxes, but also, we like to include very useful things like socks, slippers, jewellery, makeup, etc. We always include at least one toy, even if it is for an adult because it reminds you of the magic of Christmas when you were a small child. The favourite thing however, is something to do with the person’s hobby or special interests, something they really really need but is a bit of a splurge to buy for themselves. I really like to pay attention when someone says, “I really could use this or that” to make a project easier. For example, my husband who is a woodworker always comes to my studio to borrow my compass for drawing perfect circles so guess what’s getting in his stocking this year!Thanks so much for the fun video Sarah!
yay super excited for this! my best friend and i are making each other advent calendars this year. i got some little cloth bags and i'm going to use paint to stencil numbers on them and then put little christmas chocolates in them.

I find it so lovely that Izzy is still into dolls even at the age of 13! I’m 16 nearly 17 at the minute and I don’t have any older siblings but I have 1 younger sister , but by the time I was 9/10 I was completely out of dolls and toys .. but now I’m older I wish I hadn’t of grew up as fast🙈😂 she should be proud of herself !! xx
We have put our Christmas decorations up now, and for my little boy who is 4 we love doing the book Advent calendar where he gets a book to read he loves reading and we love snuggling up together xx
I’m sixteen and I actually love your videos... I am subscribed to The Ingham Family but I have only just discovered this channel. I think it is really lovely that Isabelle still plays with dolls and I wish I was still that happy playing with them, I stopped at about 11. By the way I would like to say that there is no such thing as too much at Christmas. It excites me SOOOO much, I’m not kidding, I’ve been counting down from 100 days 😂😂😂.

I've done the advent books for my little boy, he's only 5 months old but we love reading to him. Because he's only little I decided to just do the 12 days of Christmas instead of the 24 of advent which also kept the cost down. It's all so exciting with a baby in the family now Xxx

I have done the kids advent calendars for the last years , last year we did Lego and made the scene, however the kids didn’t really play with them as Christmas came and they had more appealing toys and it was forgotten, so this year we’ve bought activities, painting by numbers xmas paper chains , paint your own princess , books etc , and the elf will bring a gift during advent instead .

I’m older now but I always come home for Christmas and my mom does the 12 days of Christmas (a little gift for the 12 days before Christmas) I ALWAYS love getting COZY SOCKS!! I’m sure your girls would love it as well 🙃
I only do a chocolate calender and as you said.... My daughter is sooo excited to have chocolate...thats all that matters. She's happy. She watches all your videos with me. It's a way for her to see kids from other places. Also a way for mummy to show her places I've been.
I am 14 and only ever get 1 chocolate advent calendar from the pound shop. But I don't care Christmas isn't about spending money or receiving gifts its about showing love and kindness and spending time with friends and family. Xxxx
My Great Auntie made me and my sister an Advent calendar to share and it had matchboxes on it, she painted it and decorated it but the boxes were the swan matchboxes and she would fit 2 presents in each box so they were penny sweets or rubbers or a little bracelet etc. We loved them. It was such an exciting time. I must have got my love of Advent calendars from that cos I'm 44 and I have got this year Lego Friends, Playmobile, Hatchimals and a jigsaw one LOL x

Izzy is an amazing girl/sister. She's growing and maturing everyday but still connects with her siblings. Plus there's no shame in still playing with toys.
Love all the ideas for the fillers. As for ideas: maybe talk about your ornaments. Do you buy new ones every year? Every ornament we have has a story.
What you could do with the bags is just put one thing in each day rather than all 24 (if that makes sense) then you should have room 😉👌

I had bought my little boy some christmas crafts to do over the christmas period and never thought to include them in his advent bags!! 😁 seeing the lol bath fizzes reminded me that smyths had the smaller accessory baths fizzes on 3 for 2 when I went in the other day 😁 xx

Lovely ideas for advent calendars or stocking fillers the first advent calendar you showed us at the start of the video is the type of calendar i get ive had one that way since i was a child and still have it that way even though im 40 now i buy a few of them every year you can also get blind bags with jo jo bows in b and m's but would suit the younger two as a stocking filler.

My mum always brings me and my sister out to the shopping centre like 1-2 weeks before Christmas to do last minute shopping which is always great fun.
She also always stays up till mad hours doing the Christmas wrapping on Christmas Eve so she put colouring books and markers in our stocking fillers to keep me and my sister entertained until she wakes up 😂♥️

We have a cheap chocolate advent for my 12 year old son but for the past 7 years we also do a Christmas Service Advent - we pay it forward places, bake christmas cookies and take to fire station or police station, sort of things.

I’m 21, and when I was younger, we always had chocolate ones from the grocery store, and it was so fun to pick out which one we wanted/what picture we wanted on the front. We also had a little tree that hung in our house with velcro numbers (1-24) that you got to velcro onto the tree every day!
Now, I like to get a tea advent calendar from a shop called David’s Tea! Not sure if you have it in the UK, but we have it here in Canada! You get a tea to try each day, some Christmas teas, some not. Love seeing what tea I get in the morning before starting my day! x

What a good idea you could put a tree bell or ornament that they could put on their own tree each year. Or a family picture in a mini frame. Can't wait for the build up to Christmas videos. X
