ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

They turn for people they could support and help coach. Niall doesn’t sing soulful music so he’s not gonna turn. If he turns and she picks him it would be unfair for her
There were absolutely NO pitch issues with this performance. All very carefully chosen vocal acrobatics which she nailed by the way!!!!

It's amazing to me that the judges criticized live singing. When recording a song takes are done, edited, and glued together to produce perfect sound in songs. She did that!!!
I genuinely don't know what's up with Gwen and Niall's criticism; Azán sang that song amazingly! Her tone is clear, beautiful, warm, and she added her own taste on it with some immaculate runs and even some grit in the second verse. This was the PERFECT song choice for her, nothing about the performance was "overwhelming", and there were no tuning issues in the beginning -- perfection from beginning to end.

This made me laugh in the best possible way. She’s so good!
She really shines when she slows the pace of the vocal. Rich tone, fullness, and changing the color of her voice are all strengths that you can really hear when she can take her time. She's going to kill a ballad when she gets one and I can't wait to hear it.

AZAN is amazing! If I could give a rating for this I'd give it an A+ honestly. I have no constructive criticisms to give. She's the kind of artist I root for every season to make finale. That was PERFECT and FLAWLESS! She ate that up. She chose the perfect song choice for her voice at the right time so I don't get what Niall was talking about. SO YOU WANNA BE A SANGER!

Niall and Gwen's comments where short-sighted and inappropriate! Revealed a lot about them. This girl was Soulful, creative and Incredibly refreshing! She probably should have picked Reba though to be a standout on her team. And for some crossover influence IMO

Yeah Niall absolutely did not know what he was talking about. She did NOT have any pitch problems. She sung that flawlessly. Then a little later Niall & Gwen turned around for someone that absolutely DID have pitch problems. And Niall told that girl that he knew it was just her nerves kicking in 🙄. I’m not sure what his deal is but I’m not feeling him as a judge. If it wasn’t for Harry Styles I don’t think we would even know who Niall even is. I wish Harry wasn’t too busy to have been selected as a judge instead. Sorry not sorry 🤷🏽♀️.
