- Tommy Emmanuel joins us from his home in Nashville to talk about Maton guitars, share some playing tips and even play us a few songs from his incredible repertoire! Don’t miss this rare and special occasion to hear the great man’s thoughts, not to mention his playing!
We had some mic issues with Tommy’s guitar sounds for around 15 mins, after that though, we can hear it properly!

People are starting to pick up on this interview, great to see you enjoyed it as much as we did :)
Heck yeah, a new one on CZcams! I love this mans interviews, so inspiring, especially when he brings out the acoustic and he just bangs it out EVERYTIME MAN, makes me wanna go pick up my acoustic, hell yeah! Rock and Roll! Thanks for arranging and posting this man.
It was truly a pleasure to chat with him! Thanks for the lovely comment, glad the interview inspired you 🔥
What a guy this is so good thanks Guitar Guitar my fave shop of all time Tommy is just a true musician if you know you know
best guitarist in the world for me
Hard to beat when it comes to acoustic playing!
What a lovely man Tommy is. He seemst so humble and just so into his guitars .
I had noticed the intonation on his guitars is perfect.
As for the scuff marks on is guitar if it were me I'd try and glue a bit if suede on just that spot .
I play the ukulele and would love to know what Tommy thinks about this particular instrument. It has a much maligned reputation of being a joke instrument.
There are however some seriously good players out there.
I've got six ukuleles and three banjoleles and fortunately no other half to scream at me to shut up.....
Maybe a question for the next interview!
🐐
The teams app noise cancelling algorithm cancels the guitar. It's perfect for practicing while having a business meeting, but not so great for this type of interview. lol
Not a fan of putting guitars stored up and sterilized in museums, let em sing and continue to blossom with intention with which they were created, to be creative
