marie Lay is still technically part of the group, he just isn't currently promoting with them. In general SM and Korea have lots of problem with China, so it is really risky for Lay to promote with the group becuz he is such a huge advocate for China and has a lot of songs in Chinese as well. That is why He had like 2 seconds of screen time in Tempo and wasn't present in Love Shot. At the time of Tempo, he was also busy with his solo. I hope that cleared any confusion! Hopefully, Lay will be promoting with the group soon :)
