I just watched the first game. The fact that he did more than 11k dmg and still lost shows what kind of teams this games has even after more than 10 years. For some reason lots of the players don't try, they give up fast.
There is one thing both these matches have in common, there is no SPG in both games that can easily ruin any kind of good play
Well, arty now doesn't really ruin fluid play. Been nerfed so hard nobody really plays it at T10. Who wants to wait 45 seconds to do 300 damage at best? I kept trying to make my CGC arta work after the nerf, and after the winrate tanked from 60% to 38% I decided to stop ruining games for my team mates. A shame as the 3D skin looks mega on the CGC, and I liked playing it before when it was possible to hurt things bad with it occasionally. Now it is an ornament in the garage.

@@t6finch Just Go and Watch 3d skin in Garage, U can click more often than ingame and you are annoying normal humans which are not sitting in a corner and fap
@@t6finch being hit for 300 dmg two times and stunned for total of 45 seconds out of nowhere and not being able to do anything against it can massively decrease your chance of having an epic game. Also you can focus less on the game and maybe cant even do some strategies because you have to hide behind a building, because you know you will get spanked otherwise.
SPGs also mean less hp to farm in the frontlines

Bounty equipment that is not upgraded is actually worse than standard equipment if it is used in a slot with specialisation as it does not get the slot bonus.
That VZ 51 in the end of the first game was a true stinker.

Yeah it sucks, but he's probably a newer player. I think newer players should play at least a few thousand games before playing tier 10 so they can get to know the maps and mechanics of the game very well but some newer players just don't know any better. Either way, be happy new players are still coming into the game as that means more competition in the future and the game continuing on.

Great commentary Skill, great format. For those who are interested in the win rate of these two players here it is -
I've checked and Matijek is now a member of the (BU_PL) clan with an overall win rate of 49.94% however over the last 30 days its 54.75% - very strange increase.
I_Bims_Eins_APCR_Bot stats - overall win rate of 58.67% and last 30 days 59.76% an excellent player.
the winrate difference with the first player is nothing weird, for example i have 56% overall, and 63% recent, because i just played like a bot for first ~10-15k games, not to mention you can inflate it a lot by playing and tryharding in strong tanks (such is my case as i just finished marking 3 tanks with wr from 65 to 70 percent)...
not really that weird, my overall WR is 50.6% but my recent is 54%. Often happens with players who have been playing for a long time, takes awhile to get past the first few thousand bad games spent learning the game and doing stock grinds.

In case of the first player it's obvious there are two players playing on that account. The session stats jump between 1100WN8 and 2500+WN8. If it would be that the player is improving the WN8 would be trending up but it's not the case here. One day he averages 1200DPB and next day 3300+

That first game was great to watch. It’s very fun watching a good play in a good tank play his heart out, tryharding as much as possible. Always my favorite in other players and in skill himself’s videos when they give 100% effort
First 907 had one of the best games in his entire experience. His average dmg per game is only 1.1k.
Edit: His account is constantly bouncing between 1.2k and 2.5k wn8, I think 2 players are using the account.

I was about to comment exactly the same. There are definitely 2 different players playing on that account. If it would be a case of a player who have improved the WN8 would be constantly trending but now it just bounces between unicum and bad. One day he averages 1200 dmg and in the next day 3400dmg.
@Walter Yugoslavia its more likely being the other way arround. Kids grow up with pcs and are often much smarter in online games than older people.

The overhead view can be helpful - to see which way they are aiming? - but otherwise, you have such perfect map awareness that you probably don't need to zoom out to know their positions.

What is happening with yt ads? Under the WoT streamers videos and during the videos there are plenty of rigging company ads, called raptor team.
I have a lot of non upgraded gear as well. I can't afford 3m credits per item. I just use them as free standard gear.
If you don't upgrade it it's worse than standard equipment
I want this vehicle so bad because I really enjoy my medium tanks but I do not play clan war at all and I wasn't prepared for it to be available for bonds. Anyone know how much bonds these normally go for at the auction??

Yeah it definitely sucks ass when you have a crazy great game just to end up losing bc the rest of your team just wasn't up to par. It is what it is, can't be mad at the team as I'm sure for the most part they tried to do what they could and that's all I could ask for. Win or lose, as long as my teammates try, that's all that matters.
If I was that 277 in that first game, I would be malding 1st shot and get set on fire
Reward tanks should be restricted to tier 10 only games. Fact that both games (and most top games) are with lower tiers mm kinda proves that. What the f is stock is3 going to do against 907... Or chief, or 279. Lately in at least 80% of my t8 games if its t10 MM you will have one of those 3 tanks playing.

This is why I want the 907 because it's very similar to the original T-62A before it was nerfed to donkey with the Great Physics Nerf and Gun Nerfs, and I think it specifically got nerfed also.
I remember it's gun was so good, that with the Skills and Equipment you could put on it, it literally had basically "no Aim Time", it's bloom was super low, and it had okay armor.
This is basically the 907 now, just the gun isn't "as good", but close enough otherwise. I know the 140 became the goto tank, but I never liked it cause it didn't have the armor, and not "enough" gun depression to adjust for it in my view.
If I played like this on NA, I would get trashed so fast. The things you eu and ru players can get away with are insane.
I used to play on NA as well. When I played it looked like their whole team was targeting me at all times. It looked 100 times harder than these guys playing in other servers.
@Jules Nah, he's right to an extent. The play styles are different depending on the server.
@@schizophrantic Whenever I play 907 i just get shit on by arty constantly. Honestly the tank is good but is really annoying to play in pubs for that reason. People think its overpowered but it really isnt. You get to farm the boomers really easily but you also get yoloed when youre 1 shot which is insanely frustrating.

When you are f2p 3 millions to upgrade equipment is a lot of silver...
Especially when there are so many other ways to spend your credits, I’m not spending half my credit reserve to upgrade one equipment piece up a percent and a half when I could be buying new tanks and getting equipment for them, using food/gold ammunition on the tanks I already have, etc.
Skill you should have taken over the camera in that first game. The guy was driving me nuts

This is the definition of forced 50-50 winrate. You do IMPOSSIBLE damage and still lose the game just because WG wants you to lose. 0 skill hot garbage forced matchmaking.

A question. In this replay the hero of the day exits the sniper mode fraction of a second before shooting. It's certainly not the first player I see shooting lik this. Can't anyone here provide any reasoning behind this technique? I wonder if it's something I should learn.
Heeeey late answer, often people aim in to ensure they aim at the right spot and then zoom out asap to minimize chance of tunnel vision. They want to be aware of what's happening around them as much of the time as possible!
@@brandoburgje9339 I kinda know the reasoning why they zoom out. But I wonder why he is doing this before he actually shoots, not right after but a moment before. I am sure that it would compromise my aim ;)

@@luuk9759 yes but now it's less used in clan wars when some sniping is needed so I get to use it less
@@wyld_wolfwin Ive never heard of someone using 140 over 907, 907 is just 10x better for the main role of wolfpacking since it has more hp, dpm, speed, and armor. Just use leo or strv if yuou need sniper

I see all these good players who carry 55 - 60% or more WR. They do well in pretty much every game, 5 - 7K dmg per game etc etc. But I've lost even with near 7K dmg as a noob. It takes a team to win. WR depends on team. So how do they get there ? I'm a 50% WR noob.
I’d argue that stopping 4 tanks from pushing and doing 0 dmg could be more effective then farming damage in the game
@Pavel Kondratyuk indeed. But, only if team manages to get those 4 tanks while you're keeping them busy
It's more than damage when you talk about win rate. If you sit at redline and snipe 7k dmg as/after your team melted you ain't winning shit. You have to be impactful from the start and create a big enough disadvantage for the enemy either by dmg/kills of important enemy tanks (like lights on open maps or top tiers) or by holding flanks while outnumbered.

@@AkashZaman277 then you are not that game changing as you think. Learn new spots, practice more, get better and in the end you will change more battle results in your favor. You can t win them all that s for sure but 1,2,3games out of 10 are usually winnable by having a good performance and those are the one raising you over 50%
