The fact you still do shorts and update us on your feature film shows us you still have your passion and it wont ever go away.

It’s inspiring to see people like you follow your dreams and achieve your goals. It makes me so happy to see people accomplish great things! I come from a family that crushed their own dreams and just gave up, but I’m still the hopeful dreamer, trying my best to work hard despite my depression sometimes hindering my progress. Not having any friends really does suck, but at least it’s peaceful.
You’re an amazing father, and I hope to become a dad someday too that’s one of my dreams, along with creating music for video games. I wish you all the best in achieving everything you set out to do. You’re an awesome guy, and you deserve a break sometimes.
I know people miss watching you stream games, but you have a different vision for yourself. I believe everyone should pursue what they are truly passionate about, rather than what others want for them. You’ve only got one life, so go after what will make you the happiest.

The Rawness to the videos is always great too but once again, whatever you decide to make, we’re here to watch. I’m currently in university taking film studies and it’s wonderful to follow a content creator that is following the same passions that I have, and is also a great dad. Ive only been exposed to your content through the shorts you've made with your son and while they weren't very substantial I always got a kick out of them. So yes I'm not very familiar with your content but I think I got the gist of your Danny Dorito character- lighthearted, positive, and pretty wholesome. Anyway I got this recommended to me and I'm happy for you man. This is your platform you should be able to make the content that fulfills you. I think we need more of this on the internet anyway- down to Earth, people being people. If you're worried about people sticking around I'd be optimistic that they will. While it may not be Danny Dorito I think Derek brings the same great personality with another level of authenticity that I'd guess people would gravitate towards. For whatever my opinion counts, I subscribed and I think I'd be interested in your new content especially if its film related. Im a teenager trying to figure out what I want to do in the future and film has always been appealing to me but it just never seems realistic. Watching people pursue that path is inspiring and I would totally follow your journey. And congrats on the new born!

Maybe more longer film making vlogs/stream on the main channel to show the audience behind the scenes stuff? I think that would sorta help bring you the best of both worlds and give the audience who want to pursue more creative endeavors an awesome chance to connect with you more. Hey, Derek! It's me, Failbro Studios from a couple of your twitch streams. I do like you "DannyDorito" character, but I also like the raw and unedited version of you, too! I do! I really did like Pollo Loco. It was a great short film. I have a dream of becoming a person like you. No, I don't want to be like you. But I want to become someone a filmmaker and actor and really all that pizzazz. I've been working on that from something small for a couple of years now. But one day, I dream of working with other small filmmakers who were in the sam position a me, work with the MCU and maybe sony, DC, and just all those other big studios. I guess the point is, could you give me some advice on how I should keep going and how I should go about things? And I'd prefer if you keep it real and from your experience. Thank you.

I got a question. Since you are a film maker and have a passion for films. Do you genuinely think there is a "superhero movie" fatigue? I saw a theory that this fatigue is simply caused from all the medicore superhero films that overshadow the great ones. Would you agree? Aside from the question, keep up the great work, man! 😌
I think there is genuine fatigue but we may experience another wave if marvel can turn things around and James Gunn can execute a better DC lineup!
