After listening to the Taurus debate for some time now I have come to the conclusion that the non-delivery is based on two things:
    1. Fear of technological insights the Russians might get by one way or the other. Like a failed missile that could get into their hands or Taurus missiles stored somewhere in Ukraine might get into Russian hands by way of conquering that area. With all the corruption and failures which show up in conducting the war this is a real concern in my eyes.
    2. Taurus being Germany's poor man's nuke (actually the most proprietory sophisticated longer range missile Germany has) it should be reserved for the last stand or actual attacs on NATO territory.
Neither production issues nor other logistic issues (like German personnel in Ukraine, necessary help by Germans during actual use) should really occur.
Perhaps the transfer of confidential intelligence like electronic maps which help the missile avoid or be aware of anti-missile batteries could be an issue. This intelligence needs to be developed and given to the missile guidance system. Other nations who are in possession of Taurus have developed/obtained their own maps. If the German intelligence should not be given to the Ukrainians for the reasons mentioned above, there will be not enough time for Ukraine to develop their own.
Everything else Scholz says is just a red herring. He simply doesn't want to point out these points (#1 technical, #2 political).
That is my understanding as a German. And I can understand those points.

I have no problem with that.
As for the increase in people being "unhappy", there has been a strong Russian disinformation campaign pushing lately, especially in the swing areas like in the US. There are inauthentic Russian "botsky" accounts... I mean just take user-rv9hp6bo3y, account made 9 months ago, just throws insults at pro-Ukrainian groups without backing anything up, sounds 100% botsky to me.
Some news channels that exclusively cover the Ukraine war have been "attacked" by swarms of these bots, to get these channels banned or to manipulate the algorithm to not promote their videos so the channels end up becoming unsustainable.
Of course there are large parts of the world who are so selfish they just don't care about what's right and wrong anymore as long as THEY can prosper in the short term... But rarely do they consider the long-term implications, nor the countries they're alienating through their narcessism.
