I love how they all stepped forward to protect Sam from being hurt or uncomfortable because of the question. This means support! Stay always the same guys, no matter where the life will take you all!
If a question hurts the celebrity it should not be asked . Because it is simply inhumane .
But even in that situation I really admire the way they answered it. Yu quickly stepped forward to save Sam even without bothering about his reputation . That is a wonderful relationship .

I personally feel the reporterss/media persons can ask anything, its their job.... But it really should n soley depend on the celebrity how to answer it.... the celebrities have all the rights to either directly answer the question or wittily or ignore it or refuse it...

I was wondering why he didn’t just tell reporter that he rather not answer. My sister who works in Hongkong (not Taiwan) suggested that media there is different than the western media. She didn’t elaborate thou. I guess more like fearing the backlash of media while promoting. 🤷🏻♀️

totoo yung sa reporter part. trabaho nila magtanong kahit sobrang offensive na or hindi dapat. nakakalungkot lang na kaya sila nagtatanong ng ganon kasi yun ang gustong malaman ng tao.
some questions should not be asked about actors and their private lives or relationships. Sam and Joyce broke up a while back so it is uncomfortable for reporters to be asking these sensitive questions during a press conference. They need to respect both Sam and YU in this situation.

But mainly because she wrote a breakup song about distance very recently, and also stopped wearing a ring he gave her this year too, but she wore it for two years before that.

The conference was held in order to promote the drama. The questions should be about the drama, not about the actors' private life. It's PRIVATE life for a reason.

For a time being i was kind of public person. I was working excursion guide and rep mostly in african countries back to times when polish spoke no languages so i would literary be like their guide dog. I would be easily recognized in public places in my city and it was kind of nice although sometimes I felt I need to behave. Why I am saying all that? Bcz people would ask me every question, like .. literary, everything, including my intim life with my foreigner husband.Tell you what?I did not mind at all. You can answer in a way that people are satisfied even if you dont tell them what they want to hear, and every professional guide will agree here. There are no bad questions really. But there may be good or bad answers. I tottaly agree with you Leonardo ❤️

I do feel the press/media do not have a right 2 ask about things that have nothing 2do with whatever show/flim they r promoting sam GF has nothing 2 do with the show. If I was sitting in sam chair I would of called that press person out and said what does ur question have 2 do with this show.
