I hope this isn’t weird but your voice is soooooo soothing. You should do ASMR!! My fave shampoos for my gray hair are Bleach London Silver shampoo, fanola no yellow, and the L’Oréal Everpure purple conditioner. I think
They would probably stain your hair though, but I like my grey to have a bit of a noticeable purple cast. I let it sit for at least 3 minutes though.

Omg I love that purple shampoo!!!!!!! I’m going to try it. I usually mix my purple shampoo with my regular shampoo and I get a great result, less stripped and drying. I use Aveda Blue Mavala, however I am going to try this. I also use a leave in conditioner everyday.

I use this purple shampoo and the smoke silver dye because like you described the silver in my hair is brassy even when I dye it silver. Before my next wash its back brassy. This purple shampoo is great!

I thought I would start by using a purple conditioner. I have a fear of negative discoloration. Also I have longish locs. Any helpful comments would be appreciated.

I’ve never tried purple shampoos. Mainly because of fear of staining 😜
I hear you it’s a real fear. I think how long you leave it on and how frequently you use it can increase chances of staining.
1. Shampoo Is Shampoo, and Shampoo Is a Cleanser: Shampoo Removes from Hair Strands and Hair Follicles Whatever Is Absorbed Into the Hair Strands and Hair Follicles. So, to Articulate that Shampoo Dries, Especially, a Specific Color of Shampoo, Is a Bit In-Accurate, and Possibly a Bit Mis-Leading: Shampoo, Simply, Cleanses.
2. Purple Shampoo Does One Thing: Absorbs a Darker Tint Into a Lighter Color Hair Strand, to Eliminate Light De-Flection, By Enhancement of Light Absorption Into Its Likeness, each Hair Strand, to Prevent Additional Light Re-Flection, of each Hair Strand.
Lay-Man's Terms: Purple Shampoo Causes Lighter Hair to Appear a Bit "Dimmer", and Causes Darker Hair Strand Color to Appear As "Deeper". In the Case of Purple Shampoo, "Deeper" Color Is any Color Similar to Purple, and that Color Is Black: Likeness Is Attractive to It-Self, and of Dimmer Environments, the Hair Strands Will Appear to "Glow" or "Radiate" Light By the Lighter Hair Strands, Whether By Light or Not. However and Actually, the Darker Hair Strands, Simply, "Blend" With the Darker Environment (Think a "Nite-Club" Environment, and any Dim Areas: an Example Is Red Lights Will Cause a Red Hue on Either Perspective of Hair Pigment).

On the Hue Spectrum, the Color Purple Is Violet, and Violet Is a Perspective of Red and Blue, and As a Combination Color Spectrum, Violet Can Be Perceptive As Black, and Black Hue "Bursts" As "Ultra-Violet" White: "Pigment-Free", With Depth ("Low-Lights", that In All Actuality, Appear As "Stains" On "Lighter" Hair Strands, that In All Actuality. Are Hair Strands of the Green Hue, When a "Glow" Exists of any Color, Especially Color that Is Visible and Comprehensive As Yellow Color).
4. Purple Shampoo Is Visibly Best of Straight and Sleek Hair, Especially As Heat Treated and Flat-Ironed, to Eliminate Light Absorption (De-Flection), and to Enhance Light Re-Flection.
5. Basically, any Color Pigment, other than "Black" Pigment Spectrum, Is "Brass"/"Brassiness".
6. Conclusively, Purple Shampoo Gives a Dark Tint to Light Hair Color, Exactly As any other Hair Pigment Gives a Tint to Dark Hair Color.
