Hello from the UK, I am so so happy to have found you. Thank you. My 14 year old daughter was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease 5 years ago. Her antibodies have reduced but still high. Her diet 100% GF.
She's having severe pains ( question mark around weather it's ovaries or bowel pain) She's failing to thrive, tired, always feeling sick or hungry ( just like you mentioned in your previous video. Her bowels are never the same from one day to the next. Shes an absessive kick boxer, but unfortunately she can not attend the Dojo like she wants too due to feeling tired.
My question is, is serious pain a standard symptom of coeliac? She's under a Paediatrician, her blood count is low and I'm at my whits end.
    Thank you so much ❤

Hi Claire! I’m so sorry she is having to deal with that - Celiac is not easy to deal with. I’m by no means a medical professional, but I still experience symptoms like you are describing almost daily. I use to compete professionally in Brazilian jiu-jitsu before I was diagnosed and train kickboxing , but now I am in a similar place as my body cannot handle as much training as it use to. I’m not sure if you see a GI doctor, but I know that mine keeps a close eye on me because my numbers stayed high even on a strict strict gf diet - and eventually I was diagnosed with refractory celiac , which meant I had to take immunosuppressant steroids to get my celiac in technical remission. Despite all of this , i am happy to be here for any support I can offer! I have started a discord and an Instagram and twitter (support for celiac) pages that I’d love for her to connect on! Having people who are going through the same things to talk to is so important and makes the journey more bearable. Please connect and reach out whenever - I’m happy to chat with you/her and in the coming months I will be hosting some live conversations with my fellow Beyond Celiac Ambassadors talking all things Celiac Disease.
