Do you feel as if a rope around your waist limits you from moving around things? Even when it’s only in your head? Do you count *all* of your belongings whenever you leave the house? Do you know the feeling of having to *repeatedly punch a wall* until your fist feels *just enough* pain, and then having to repeat that exact level of thrust to acquire the same results *over and over* until you reach your safe number? OCD is NOT just perfectionism. If anything, perfectionism is simply a coping method. Unless you’ve experienced anything similar, respectfully *never* use that term to describe your ✨keen attention to detail✨.
