We are very grateful for those who put this video together. We plan on visiting this coming April and we were looking for a video that would help us understand what we were going to see. Thank you, it was moving and inspiring and perfect in making us want to visit. Your cousins from the north.

I hope to get down there from Toronto as it’s one of the Civil War spots I’ve missed ‼️🇨🇦🇺🇸

I deeply respect Robert E. Lee as a general but I would fight for the Union if I had to choose.

I could never side with the Union Being from Alabama I could never draw my sword or fire my guns against my own family and friends While I don't support Slavery I don't believe Slavery had as much to do with the commencement of the war as historians would have us believe I think unfair taxation and Constitutional rights and the Souths desire to preserve those rights also played a role

As a slave owner, Lee did what most space owners refused to do; that is, he broke up the slave’s family. How cruel that man was.
