It's really nice. You could live in it. I like the half bath with the washer and dryer. My compliments to the designer. They did a really good job.

We love our Riverstone Legacy 42FSKG! We have the white interior as well and it is amazing!
If we would ever get to the point of "going big, or going home", this would be the unit I would want. I was not sure about that trash in the counter situation until you showed the outdoor access to where the much larger trash can could be placed and removed for emptying. Love that! I would opt for a queen or even a full bed if that was an option. My husband and I don't like such larges beds and I would much rather have the extra move around space and bigger night stand options. Absolutely love that the washer/dryer units are already installed and that it has a half bath. Love the main bathroom size and double sinks as well as that amazing walk in closet! Love, Love, Love this unit. This one is the best full time option out there yet.
I've watched a lot of 5th wheel tours. This by far is the best floor plan and design that I've seen. I wondered where that trash went. Awesome design. The bathroom with dual walk-in closets is a game changer! Thanks for sharing.
By far the best floor plan that checks all the boxes, a gen set would be a plus

This is really a beautiful fifth wheel. The paint job is exceptional. When you opened up the door that had the trash can, it dawned on me what you were saying about the round opening you mentioned in the counter top. That's ingenious. It uses up space that would otherwise be hard to get to from the cabinet. And what a great way to get the trash can out of sight and out of the way. It's such a large area that you can put a really good sized (tall) garbage container in there with less chance of things being dropped in from the top and missing the container. Supper. I do wish they had put a window in the kitchen, other than the one that is on the door side by the pantry. It's a super well made unit. Thank you for the walk through on this JD.

Awesome floor plan. I really like the rear kitchen. I prefer a gas electric water heater so I can use electricity when on shore power. Definitely living in RV luxury!
That RV is absolutely amazing! While watching it I was surprised every 30 seconds how much I liked the next thing you showed. That may literally be the perfect RV. I am struggling to come up with something, anything I didn’t like about it. Not really sure what I would change, add, or subtract from it. Even the subjective stuff like the colors (in and out), and the decor were pretty dang perfect. Loved the storage outside that housed the kitchen trash, great option there.
Chris, the only thing to be aware of is the front shower. Due to its location the head height felt tight for me at 6ft but was still doable. We ended up ordering the Riverstone 419RD instead for the triple axle and rear storage. This rear kitchen floor plan is amazing still. :)

This is a gorgeous 5th wheel. It would be perfect for us. Just Ike being home. Own a Forest River now and really like it.
Ours has the same type of trash setup. The outside makes it nice to keep the smells & mess outside. You loose a storage cabinet, but you can revert back if you desire very easily as well. It gives you an option this way though.

Thank you for your review. We just purchased one like this except ours has the silver, white and black outside paint. We looked at every major brand and the build quality on these is tops. Very happy with the unit’s insulation to. We’re experiencing 100 degree days in Dallas area and the unit doesn’t struggle to keep us very cool.

We got our ‘22 Riverstone Legacy 39RKFB in December & we are Full Time. We absolutely absolutely luv our Rig! This is our 5th Fifth Wheel so we do have comparisons. I work remote and the desk is awesome! We like no window in the door because they kinda are silly because door windows are frosted anyway so whats the point. We like the huge size door too. We also upgraded the tires & got independent suspension. Also the trash can bay is freakin awesome! We did get a much larger can but it really is nice not having a trash can in an RV kitchen. Absolutely a fantastic RV to live full time in! Thanks for doing this video!
Loved everything about this unit. It appears that it’s made for full time use. I especially liked the office desk area.
Liked everything about the unit except the tin ceiling in the kitchen. JD Riverstone has a new floor plan called the 442MC if you can find one to review I think you would be impressed.

I'm actually astonished. This floor plan in the living room kitchen NAILS it. It actually feels like an apartment!! The wood beam looking ceiling trim was cool too. I'm LOVING this one so far! It feels like a single/couples RV, which i like.
This thing is beautifull. Many deluxe features that I would be interested in since I live in Alaska. Harsher conditions up here can be dealt with if your smart. I appreciate video’s like this one that cover higher end units like this, thanks for covering this unit.

I love this unit. I don't think I dislike anything. Well, maybe the ceiling fan/light fixtures in the kitchen. Love the steal construction under the upper deck! And Solar package is great. Love the desk addition.
It has a dishwasher! I thought only luxury Class As had dishwashers. This is an amazing fifth wheel.

This is one of my favorite layouts for Riverstone units. The walk-in closet has the most storage space of any Riverstone, but the use of that mega-mirror is a major waste of space. I would prefer a split mirror with a real medicine cabinet in between. We have a Riverstone Legacy 38RE with the same mirror and the side medicine cabinets are so narrow that a lot of things won't fit in them. The kitchen layout is nice, but counter space is limited. The trash can in the hole is a joke in that they have that big space with a small-medium-sized trash can. It would be so easy to miss the can and end up having garbage all over that compartment. If that were my unit, I would convert the space to outside storage instead. I would gladly trade in our 38RE for that model if the trade-in price was right.

What a beautiful coach, with a great floorplan! You did a great job going over everything as well as saying what kind of slide mechanism type each slide had. Most of the other coach video tours never mention if the slides are rack & pinion or other types. I agree with you... I also prefer rack & pinion slides. This will probably be my next coach purchase.

JD, next time can you call out the dishwasher on the inside tour? (maybe it was edited out?). So rarely see that in a 5th wheel, even big Front Kitchen models, and those Fisker Pascal units usually use LESS water than washing the same load by hand.
Love it could never afford it though. Lol The garbage bay is an excellent idea. I’d put a larger bin underneath to keep the walls from getting messy. All around great RV.

This floor plan is dreamy! We are full timers and I work from home. The only change I would make is a smaller desk/better use of storage space in that footprint and the vacuum stored closer to the kitchen. Makes no sense to put it all the way up in the clothes closet. I use my cordless vac every day or more between the kitchen and front door messes. We have done so many mods to our 5th wheel we don’t want to trade it for a very long time, but I would trade for this one in a heartbeat!

Beautiful rig for sure. I really like the tin ceiling in the kitchen and the master bathroom, I want a king bed in my next RV. Only thing I didn't care for was the dining set up, a drop leaf table and padded chairs seem kinda cheap. I'm going to have to look up these with bunkhouse floor plans, still need extra beds for a few more years.

Really like the full body paint, especially the color scheme. The master suite is unreal, I’m not planning on the desk for travel work so the second sofa or recliners would be nice. Manifold for better water control in the unfortunate event you can isolate the leak and not have to shut the entire water down. Overall, would be my dream unit. Thanks for sharing.
You can option in a sofa there instead of the desk.
I love the desk option. One suggestion for an easy improvement to it. Make one side a door with a pullout like the pantry so you can put the printer. Perfect work space then. Imagine the views when working.

Loved it. Kitchen storage maybe slightly lacking compared to other kitchen models with a desk. Many do a belly up bar and lose the table. It would be nice if Riverstone would put storage above the desk as some other models do. Overall tho, very nice rig and some really nifty features. That bathroom/closet is a hands down winner.

The only improvement I can think of would be independent suspension. Beautiful design and construction!
