  • This is a Demonstration of how UV cured pipe lining works.
    1. Inspect line with camera and measure to detrrmine location and length of repair.
    2. Using a chain machine (a high RPM shaft) with carbide teeth we remove the scale build up on the walls of the piping. This makes the walls of the piping smooth to prepare for lining.
    3. The liner is measured and cut to length. This type of liner is pre soaked with resin and is UV sensitive, the yellow covering on the liner provides protection from any UV penetration.
    4. The liner is slid over the packer. The Packer is a sealed bag, containing UV lights, that inflates pushing the resin soaked liner against the walls of the piping.
    5. The packer is now preped and slid into the piping where the repair is needed.
    6. The packer is now inflated, this is a gradual increase in pressure to allow the resin to seep into any cracks in the piping.
    7. The UV is now turned on to cure the resin, this takes about 30min in total.
    8. The UV lighting is turned off and the packer is deflated.
    9. The packer is pulled out and the piping is good as new. There is no need to wait to use water the liner is compleatly cured!
This process typically takes about a half day. The best application to use this type of lining is typically to patch a section of piping 5-10Ft long.
