Late last year, I had to move to a small town about 3 hours away from home for work, as a 23 year old it was new to me because I never been away from home all my life and this experience was quite something, due to the fact that I was somewhere foreign. It was round about the time Brent dropped this beautiful album and I gotta say, this song sums up my entire experience back there, the words the flow. Simply every track is amazing.

Brent Faiyaz is a huge inspiration to me and I WILL produce a song for him one day.
I've been listening to him since 2016. Like, very personally, just me and him in my ear. Been a fan since the beginning and will ALWAYS seek out his art. Even in jail with no way to listen, I would sing his songs to soothe my soul and ease my mind. Great,unique artist who stays true to HIMSELF and what means something to HIM and his fans. Which is why we'll never leave and always have him at the top of our lists. Proud of his growth and success and thankful to have his music as a means of therapy and peace and a way to leave this physical plane for awhile and just exist in his songs. Throughout any 24 hours, His music is getting played a good majority of that time😉. Been 7 years and still feel I "NEED" to listen to SUMTHIN from him at least everyday. God favors those that he's chosen for a purpose. And Brent Faiyaz was sent for those of us who understand and utilize his art as our means of escape as well as motivation and peace. 💯
