Sounds vicious! Thanks for the videos guys! :)
No problem, sorry for taking a while on making the video. Hope you enjoyed!
Very interesting setup!
BEAUTIFUL, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Time has come to give up with my love affair with Range Rover L322's and decided on an S5, guys like you just emphasise my need for one.
Thank you! I’m glad you liked the S5! If you end up getting one don’t hesitate to ask any questions about it! I’ll give you all the info I have and show you some great threads on Facebook and Audizine to help you learn more if you decide to modify it
Sounds so good
Thank you so much! Stay tuned and hopefully we can have more content out for the S5 soon!
I would not want to be your neighbor 😂😂😂
It sounds pretty sick though ✌🏻
Sounds amazing and great video too. Did you ever change the exhaust ? Or, what was your old setup? Did you have just the awe touring exhaust before by itself ? If so what was it like compared to this. I know when you go stage 2 or dual pulley you need to get a more crazy exhaust but yeah
Thanks man! And yeah I changed the exhaust around a lot but I never really liked anything before I finally bought the awe exhaust and jhm downpipes. My old setup used magnaflow mufflers in place of the oem mufflers and the baby resonators which sounded okay but once I took the cats out they didn’t sound great anymore.
@@TKWhips did you have the awe exhaust at the time ? Or was it just that setup, I’ve heard another video of the awe exhaust and the jhm downpipes but this sounds amazing compared to it
Nope never had the awe before until I switched over to it with the jhm downpipes so I never got a chance to hear it without them. It could possibly be from audio quality from this video and the other that you mentioned but there’s a lot of variables that can go with that
@@TKWhips ahhh okay I see, makes sense but thanks for the responses man
No problem we love to answer any questions you have!
“No drone” comment got me 😂
I just got an s5 I’m new to it what all did you do to yours to get it to hear that whine?
I got a roc euro intake but either that or the cts intake or any hard pipe intake make the most noise. Also going dual pulley made it a lot louder as well
May I know is the car all stock or with remap to made this exhaust sound ? Or just change the exhaust ? Thanks
For the sound just the exhaust and test pipes
What type of supercharger is this? Im impressed.
The stock Eaton TVS R1320 that comes with the B8/B8.5/C7. It’s a really small supercharger but it puts in work with simple bolt ons!
This isn't the JHM version that has the baffles in it, is it? Also, is it the X-pipe version or straight? I have the same car and I'm looking into getting a very similar setup
No baffles as at the time I was hearing about those baffles breaking so I didn’t want to risk it. also I believe it was not the x pipe version
@@TKWhips thank you very much. That clears things out. You paid a hefty penny for the exhaust and it sounds beautiful
And what’s a good site to get after market parts
I used Audizine classifieds, ecs, euro code, FCP euro, jh Motorsport and some others I can’t think of. I suggest making an account on the Audizine forums and finding some S5 fb groups to help you get a good idea of different things you can do and other websites to order from as well
@@TKWhips appreciate you man helps a lot I came from a g37 so this is all new 🙌🏼
Anytime man! Let us know if you run into anything else and I’ll try to help as best I can
is there less crackles when you drive on comfort?
On IE I didn’t notice a difference but with 034 there was a significant decrease with crackles in comfort which made it more enjoyable
@@TKWhips nice! which tune do you prefer?
Honestly 034 because of how well their transmission tune is. It feels like there’s less torque than the IE tune but I was fine with it
Is this just the awe exhaust no other pipes?
This is euro code test pipes to jhm downpipes to an AWE touring
@@TKWhips you got a link to the euro code test pipes Im not seeing them
Unfortunately no I just searched them up and it looks like they don’t sell anything emissions related anymore
I don’t mind full throttle but damn that is too loud for me in comfort
Yea it’s not for everybody but sounds good you can’t deny that lol
Is is tuned?
Yes currently stage 2+ dual pulley with e40 from 034
What paddle shifters does he have?
They’re the ecs brand paddle shifters. Not the best looking but I got them for a good price
@@TKWhips Thanks! Honestly I think they look pretty damn nice 👍🏼
lmao i have test pipes > non resonated downpipes > awe touring exhaust… crazy loud
Yeah these cars get pretty insane when you throw on test pipes... almost makes me wish I gutted my cats instead 😅
What other mods do you have on?
Dual pulley (57/187) tuned with IE, roceuro intake, autotech hpfp running an E40 blend, merc racing heat exchanger
@@TKWhips Hell yea, how was the upgrade to dual pulley and how long have you had it. I have an IE stage 1 tune but I'm scared to go dual pulley for reliability. It is my daily car that I intend to keep for another 80k miles
I’m currently at 94k and I’ve been dual pulley for about 12k or so miles. I plan on keeping this thing forever and so far it’s been amazing. No issues that weren’t caused by me. Also, the power difference from stage 1 to dual pulley is insane and I totally recommend it BUT those cats have to go
@@TKWhips So high flo cats are a no go
The only high flow cats I feel comfortable recommending are the jhm ones that I currently have because those are actually moved to the downpipe area. Red star seemed promising when they released their high flows that went in the same place the oem cats were in but recently I’ve been seeing a lot of people melting them. It’s just not possible to run cats in the stock location no matter what once you reach dual pulley ratios because they’re way too close to the motor
