Go Drive the Nautilus. I have owned 7 Lincoln’s and none of them have given me any problems. The are great cars & SUV’s. Ask Lexus about massaging seats. They are terrific.
People who complain about reliability only see numbers but never had experience with those cars. Don't let them deter you from making a choice.
I have to say the Lincoln looks better. Dependability might be a different story.
"Might"? No. It IS. Lexus wins hands down.
@@firstlast-wm3li Based on what? What your neighbor and friend told you?

I ordered my Nautilus 2024 Reserve 3 April 2023. I received it last week and love it! The blue cruise, 48 inch screen, massage seats and google Integrated system is perfect for my long daily driving commutes. I looked at Lexus and it may be more reliable but at less comfort...no thanks! I hqve a full extended warranty and a great service dept at local dealership. I don't mind driving a loaner from time to time.😂😂😂 Happy Driving!
Nautilus made in China. Trust me, Lincoln China plant is the best plant in Ford.
The Lincoln is objectively better. Better standard features, technology, pricing, warranty. The one trick Toyota stans will harp on is the perceived reliability.
everything that Glitters is not the gold... shit costs too much these days, and i can't speak for everyone, but i need reliability over 1st glance wooo and wow I don't care what your income level. You don't wanna waste your money constantly Taking your car down to the dealership for recalls and stuff going out ... Is count all the recalls Ford has vs. toyota....and toyota lexus isn't perfect, but I'll take the lexus ...
@@jermainec2462 and that's your right bur I can only speak from my personal experiences. My 08 focus is still running strong and has had 0 issues. If I were pouring money into it for repairs that'd be one thing but here we are 16 years later and it's fine.
What are you smoking?
@@jermainec2462 I've owned 3 different Lincolns since 2007 -- an MKZ, a Corsair, and a Nautilus -- and never had a single problem with ANY of them. Your story about reliability is trash.
@jockboy how long did you have them, and how many miles on them .... sir, let me tell you something ... all my Japanese cara I've had have either hit 200k or more, or i brought with 200k or more and ain't a damn problem other than having to do maintenance... maybe u got lucky and a well-made Lincoln, and that's cute and all, but i aint touching em... I already stated that no car company is perfect, but when it comes to reliability, I need that... I don't have time to roll the dice with Ford or lincoln ... And y'all really need to do your research and look up auto's recalls ford has ...
Lease -> Nautilus.
Buy -> RX
Hoping to get my RX soon ! Thank you for the information!
I don’t care about power. I’ve looked around the market for some time now, the Lincoln is just stunning, especially from the inside. Timeless and futuristic at the same time.
Lincoln...yes please!! Thx Lynn!
🤡
I love that Lincoln very nice 👍🏾
Great comparison!
I'll take the Lincoln
🤡

One is built in China, and the other is a Lexus.
The RX is built in Ontario, has Lexus/Toyota’s reliability reputation, and won’t depreciate like a rock.
Most of their fleet are built in Japan though lol! Still not "American made" either way. You can get your expensive iPhone, clothing and appliances from china, but a car is too much lol!
Right… the mythical lexus Toyota instant reliability 😂
So is the iPhone. What is your point?
I like the Lincoln more but powertrain sucks. These brands sticking these 4 cylinder turbo for the cost is ridiculous.
I think it’s more about fuel economy than cost
NO ONE buying the Nautilus needs anything more powerful.
The Lincoln is a Ford- fix often repair daily.
That all screen dash will look and feel severely outdated within 5 years.
As Dtay8913 notes "perceived reliability" for the Lexus. Have owned a Lexus L and currently drive a 2020 Corsair which has proven to be very reliable to date. Service after sale is what counts and in both cases it was (and is) excellent. Have been put off by Toyota (ridiculously) claiming their faulty rusted out major (very expensive) electric cable was not covered under the extended electrical component warrant. What a cheap move that was. What else was the purpose of this electric cable other than to serve the battery system. Finally, the main reason I didn't consider the Lexus in 2020 was, as is still the case, the horribly ugly front grill 🤮To me, the Nautilus is so much better looking.
I bought a 2024 Lincoln nautilus the day I drove it out of the dealership applying the brakes. I heard a noise like rubbing Chalk across a blackboard. It took a little while to figure out what the problem was, it's rust On the Rotors if the car sits a few days in the rain or you wash the rust builds up very quickly on the rotors. I've asked Lincoln to correct the problem and they've refused.
I guess I'll have to live with this as long as I own the car. My question is, will they start piting the rotors? That is and is it possible because they are not made of the proper material could crack what about when salt get on them
That’s pretty normal from my understanding, when a car has been sitting outside and not moving. The problem should go away on its own as you drive the vehicle.
Just get the Lexus. Lincoln continues to shut down dealerships. Lincoln the new Mercury!
Lies.
@@jockboy The consolidation has been ongoing for several years and is not related to electrified offerings, she said. Lincoln had approximately 500 stores at the end of 2023, down from 685 in 2021. The brand is looking to decrease that further to about 400 by the end of this year. - The Detroit News
@@BTC909 And Lexus has 244 dealerships.
Clearly, the number of dealerships does not tell the story about anything.
@@jockboy Lexus with 244 dealerships in 2023 sold 226,116 whereas Lincoln with lets say 550 dealerships in 2023 sold 81,818. Lexus had half the number of dealerships and sold 264% more units.
One will last a lot longer then the other, the Lexus.
The Lexus design is tired. I like the interior much better on the Lincoln, as well as the exterior body design and hey, it's American!
Built in China
@JudeRalu you're point? IPhones are built in China, doesn't make it less American.
@@dtay8913 … it literally does
@@JudeRalu so if you consume Chinese, Mexican, Italian, etc food that was made in America is it American?
@@dtay8913Those foods are counted towards US GDP so yes they are American. For Lincoln Nautilus, parts and assembly are from China and are counted towards China’s GDP.
I thought the Nautilus was going to be a V6. I love the design but it is definitely off of my list now.
One you can drive until you're dead. The other will be dead shortly after driving it.
😂😂😂
Yeah, that makes sense.
So untrue I’ve had my mkc over a decade
What's the difference? The Toyota works; the Ford doesn't.
Yeah, really detailed review. Thanks.
I would rather get a Acura MDX
yes the 2025 model year
🤡
Except it's ugly.
So dissapointed for 2025 facelift
Room to Rest
No one will buy the Lincoln over the Lexus. Reliability is everything. The Lincoln will break down as soon as it drives off the lot. Not to mention the maintenance costs
If you care about reliability don’t buy a luxury car. Buy a corolla instead
Besides if Lincoln’s were so unreliable they’d have gone out of business a long time ago
@@naveenthemachine do you not feel a premium vehicle can be or should be reliable?
@@ALMX5DP if you’re spending luxury car money over 50k then you can theoretically afford the repairs and maintenance. If you can’t then you can’t afford the car. Plain and simple
@@naveenthemachine how much did Lincoln pay you to defend them so vigorously?
@@naveenthemachine that didn’t answer my question. Also is reliability just about being able to financially afford repairs or could there be other considerations like loss of time, increased hassle etc?
Ahhhhh🎉😂😂😂
🔥🔥
One all looks no substance Lexus both looks and substance. 😂
Easy. The Lincoln is the better car in just about every single way
Every relevant category you look at the Lincoln beats the Lexus. It’s just a fact
So all the Lexus fan girls who still think Lexus is better than Lincoln just got schooled by facts. Cold hard facts
What specific facts would you like to cite?
@@ALMX5DP where do I begin?
Exterior - the nautilus looks universally better than the RX. Styling is not subjective in the RX as it doesn’t do anything else exceptionally well to compensate. An m3 XM 4 series iX sure look ugly up front but here styling is subjective as it makes up for it by excelling in everything else
Interior - is that even a question? Nautilus is significantly nicer than the RX. The nautilus uses leather metal trim and plenty of wood. The RX has the worst interior in the class. Uses the same Toyota grade injection molded plastics, barely any wood trim no leather dash or doors or airbag cover etc. Don’t even try the whole “Lexus is better quality and better built than the Lincoln”. That’s like saying a RAV4 XLE filled with hard plastics everywhere is better quality and better built than a cx5 or gv70.
Features - the nautilus has plenty of features and technology that you’d expect in a proper luxury suv. Massive screens, massaging seats, more speakers, better audio, better infotainment, self driving, etc. In a luxury car screens do matter. The RX doesn’t have anything in that department. Also the RX has gimmicky tech like the touchpad hud steering wheel, electronic door handles etc.
Interior space - the nautilus has significantly more space than the RX. The legroom is comparable to an accord and the trunk size is comparable to a rav4 or CRV. The RX however has the same rear legroom as the Camry. The trunk is as big as a subcompact crossover like the x1 or trailblazer
Powertrains - sure the RX has 4 choices but don’t be fooled because when you dig deeper you’ll quickly realize that none of them are all that impressive. The base turbo in the nautilus is faster than the base turbo RX. The nautilus hybrid has much better performance than the 350h. Who cares about fuel economy? The 500h is rough and unrefined. The 450h+ is just flat out overpriced and not worth it.
Someone can’t accept that Lexus is better lol
@@naveenthemachinesounds like a lot of that is actually subjective. Styling especially. What injection molded pieces on the interior do you know for certain come from the same stuff or factory as other Toyotas? And why do you call some features beneficial while you consider others gimmicks? And even if the powertrain options may not be individually impressive do you not see an advantage having choices depending on what a customer prefers?
@@preoksaha4504 someone can’t accept that they’re stuck in the past and can’t fathom a brand beating Lexus. Well I hate to burst your bubble but any other brand is better than Lexus now
I'm pooping 💩. Anyone else pooping 💩 ?
Yeah, I'm pooping right now. Crazy u knew that.
@@deeohgi I see all!!
Lincoln is just a shiney turd. Not in the same class as Lexus. Ask anyone who works on Lincoln how well built they are, I know 2 service techs for ford and they wouldnt take a free Lincoln.
That's a mf lie lol! Who wouldn't take a free fuc*in car lol?
I could never see myself driving any Toyota or other Asian cars except Genesis and Infiniti.
