He is incredible--the lightness of all the jumps and the perfectly controlled pirouettes. She's a little shakey in her pirouettes but her jumps are lovely. She is now (2019) quite a wonderful actress as well.

Well, I think she is lovely, and delicate, and refined exactly in the correct Bornonville style. I do agree that he is superb, a great dancer with real personality as well. Anyone know how and why this excerpt? The quality is so fine...is there, somewhere, a complete of this?

Really lovely. I can't wait till I eventually get to see the whole thing. It looks really hard do dance and get all
those balance movements right. I wonder what the rest of the ballet is like? I've read the story, and like
A Folk Tale, it sounds like it would be fun to watch.

This is lovely. But she is not very secure, is she? He, on the other hand, reminds me of a young Baryshnikov. Not as charismatic, but the technique and the musicality, as well as his body build.

    What a great boy.
And such weak dangerous ballerina...Her torso is wobbling in all directions possible and the turns are all opportunistic. Scary to watch, really.

Excuse me but do we all have to be experts in Bournonville to see that she is shaking like a jelly on her tours and in between them?.. Funny enought that Bournonville (and Balanchin) purists never explain their opinions limiting their comments to snoby "Oh-oh, you all are so stupid, you just have no idea what Bournonville style is!". How meaningful.
