Dude, I remember having the Star wars encyclopedia and the young Jedi knights books. I even had a subscription to Star wars insider when I was a kid. They could have done so much with a grown-up Jason and Jayna Solo and Tenel-ka and Mara Jade.

The man deserves it. I used to trust the man. he made me excited to see TFA. What big mistake that was. I hated the film right after I saw it in theatres.
They’ll have to go one step further, than just making all those shows/movies not cannon. They need to wipe that universe clean, and on screen. Take a page out of Flash’s Crisis On Infinite Earth’s playbook, and erase everything. Just set up a plot line. The force uses an avatar, to hint that it is more, than just a force, and it is displeased with how it has been used. It then disconnects, everything in that universe, from itself (the force), killing that universe, preventing any new stories from being born there.

The mere fact that he's referred to as baby Yoda is a serious problem. Everything in SW is derivative now. Hardly any originality.
Not even them saying everything disney is not canon/gone can save it. They essentially ran fans into a corner until eventually we stopped giving a single damn, and apathy is a beast not easily subdued. It will take years upon years of good stuff to come out to bring back fans who just stopped caring.

When he mentioned Chris Stuckman I was like wtf 😂. I haven’t watched the guy in a long time like ever since he made his first announcement about being a filmmaker and doing his project. So when he made that jab against him I now question what happened to Chris and assumed he lost his edge for some reason.
Apparently according to others, he made a comment saying how he won’t be “critical” on his reviews and that because he became a director himself that he could now cut some slack on other directors too. If that’s the case the wow he has fallen.
I’m telling u Disney never needed to soft reboot. All they had to do was make dr strange, captain marvel, and black panther the new big 3. Give captain marvel better writing, recast tchalla, and make dr strange Truly powerful. Along with that make sure certain characters stay true to what people love about them so example street level Spider-Man, a rage monster hulk. Finally come up with a very smart way of where the x-men and the mutant population was at. And than just tell good stories with all these characters and remove whatever agenda and activisms u had in the movies and that’s it. U could’ve had the new avengers be dr strange, captain marvel, black panther, Sam Wilson cap, rage monster hulk, Thor, etc and people would’ve been ok with it
This is what happens when you have tone deaf individuals leading your corporation (Disney). They were so scared to get cancelled & chose to be activists, pushing these agendas into their movies and their stock has tanked since then. Absolutely tragic.

Tyrone, I recently uploaded my script for Episode X onto my CZcams channel, in 4 parts in scrollVid format.
I want you to know that at least one writer has your love of Star Wars in mind.
Scrap everything Disney did. Recast all the legacy characters (sucks, but must happen). Start with Timothy Zahn's "Heir to the Empire" trilogy as your foundation for story and work through the great New Jedi Order series that will slowly push in the new Jedi characters. And stick to the source.
The only way to save Star Wars would be if it’s sold away from disney, and every single level of Lucasfilm was filled with competent, passionate people that care about Star Wars. Then they would have to make all disney star wars non cannon and take a 5-10 year break to develop a film that fans will care about and enjoy.
Trouble is he thought KK would do that. She didn't.

No what they need to do is find people that love star wars. Let the fans that made fan films to do it. Like star wars theory to do it. Make the head people stay out of the way. It's like everytime you always hear somebody puts their two cents in something and don't even know about star wars.

First I was outraged with what they did to star wars. Now I just don't care about it anymore because it's not star wars...
At least the prequels made the OT better, it builds up the story in the OT and expands the world. Suddenly Darth Vader and Luke's arcs, the fall of the Empire, and the Jedi rising back up have even more weight because the prequels provided us with the backstory to show us just certain characters fell to the Dark Side and how certain institutions were destroyed.
The sequels just retroactively made the OT pointless and meaningless. They rob all of the main OT characters of having achieved anything important or lasting. They fundamentally destroyed major character arcs and also lack focus. Like the prequels helped establish Darth Vader's story and made him even more central to saga, but he sequels completely lacked any focus on him. Anakin is irrelevant to the sequel when he's supposed to be the main character of the entire film series. Not only that, they made the universe feels so small where the prequels made the world feel so big.
In the end, even if you didn't like the prequels, they never caused any harm, they never made anything worse. But the sequels destroyed everything that made Star Wars Star Wars and replaced the iconic OT with an inferior versions of itself with inferior characters who only exist at the behest of tearing down legacy characters.
That is why I and many others can like and even love the prequels but we will never accept the sequels…

Andor story is actually pretty good. I enjoy The Madalorian too. Everything else is ok to worse. George Lucas said the story is about the battle of good and evil. It's that simple.

Anyone that wants Star Wars to be good, anyone disappointed with them for turning to the dark side, they absolutely hate you with a burning passion and they will crawl through the fire in a hate fueled rage to let you know how much they hate you.

I agree that the best and only way to save Star Wars is to retcon EVERYTHING from 2012 to the present. I'm also including Rebels into it, as it did come out during Disney's reign. But more needs to happen than just retconning everything out of existence, the company or the IP itself needs to be sold off.
Great parallel, Tyrone, between Star Wars today and Anakin falling to the dark side in Episode III. The empire days are here, what we need now is "A New Hope".
Haven't watched a Star Was anything since The Last Jedi. I won't watch Star Wars again unless it's under new ownership. They also have to make everything Disney did non cannon.
I think taking time to develop a story that can take place over a a few trilogys set far after the events of skywalker trilogy would be a good idea. Hire good writers and spend a lot of time creating a compelling story. In the meantime maybe an occasional tv show set during old republic. Sometimes it is best to leave something as good as the skywalker saga alone and move on instead of continuing to milk it. The star wars universe has so much potential they just need to refocus their efforts and hire new management.

I remember when I 1st saw the trailer for The Force Awakens I damn near shed a tear seeing the Millennium falcon on screen again after some 30 plus years. It was an emotional grab and it got me so good. I wish i could feel that wonder again, but we were shoveled shit instead. I wanted to see Star Wars as an adult for the 1st time and it be my generation's A New Hope. It feels like we were robbed of something that couldve been life changing for a lot of star wars fans. Its such a shame how at this point I could care less what they make now.

I do hope they make good stories for her role. could have been something great. could have been something fun but was just trashed. I hope for mando they keep it a bad ass bounty hunter helping his friends with side quests and grogu actually rides the mythasour and we get to see who the amourer is. I liked how they were starting to have a good bad ass light saber fights in asoka but that lasted 2 episodes for only a few mins each. so I hope they push more of that. more bad ass fight scenes - don't care the gender just show me good fights.. and if the one person is smaller show that.. show how someone can get the upper hand by doing small things to gain that upper hand. show them struggle.. show them fail. only to get back up and fight harder. anyway
